Recently I received 2 copyright strikes for "Le Bask - Hardcoriste". I had 2 versions uploaded, one with millions of views, and they have been removed because the original record label (not Le bask, the composer I guess or who has the rights) decided to do it. Also, you can't find it any more on Spotify, too.

Remember, I don't monetize any video on this channel. So it's not for that. Just due to copyright. That's all.

👉 THE PROBLEM

This is a huge problem for this channel. Because if a channel has 3 strikes in less than 90 days, it can disappear FOREVER. This means ALL THE TRACKS UPLOADED during these 17 years uploading music with more than 3000 videos (tracks and mixes). As you can imagine this makes me really sad if happens.

I don't make the songs artists send me, and I know most of them are remixes of other original songs. So, I know it's a risk to upload music without the permission of original artists who have used their songs to be remixed.

👉 WILL NAREKU CHANNEL DISAPPEAR?

Even so, one day I get tired of uploading music: I WILL NEVER DELETE THIS CHANNEL with all the work I did it. But if you see that one day Nareku no longer exists on YouTube, it's because they won…

I feel it's something that one day will happen, because the more music I upload, the more strikes of copyright I can get. And I can't do anything about it. Just accept it if it happens. And remember all the good times we spent discovering music and enjoying it together.

👉 DEMOTIVATION

That's why I also have been uploading less in the last months: First, because this project doesn't give me too much earnings to live. I only get paid for promotions. But I need to do more jobs to live, so I have less time to work on Nareku. And Secondly, because it feels like I can't trust the future of this channel due to copyright strikes. So, will you work hard on a project that one day can disappear and you can do nothing about it?

Anyway, I just wanted you to know the truth and if something happens to the channel, you know the reason.

For now, the Nareku channel is alive, and I will continue posting music and helping artists get visibility until life decides it's over.

And just remember that nothing is forever. Enjoy the present, the things you have, the people who are alive, your projects and everything you have. I never thought this channel will grow so much. That’s crazy. I’m so happy to see this community is becoming bigger every day with new underground music lovers and new artists, where we can discover so many new talents. I feel proud to be part of this common love we feel for these genres that makes us disconnect for little moments listening to music and being happy dancing, raving, singing, alone or with friends. Especially now, during this tough time that we all are living with the pandemic. I hope at least my work with Nareku continues giving you a little escape from reality to fill your battery and mood making you feel great 🔥

To celebrate the 500k I took all the genres I usually promote on this channel and I made the most special mix I have done until now. A tribute to all the ravers: 2h of pure underground music. Guys, I need your help and opinion: I see a lot of music channels that post tracks from different genres, they put the genre in the title like: "Artist - Track's Name (Genre)".

I'm not a fan of this because I like to leave the title clean. But it's true this helps to know which genre is the track before clicking on the video.

So, my question is:

👉 Do you prefer I write the genre on the titles? Do you find it more useful? or do you prefer it clean?

Try to think when you are scrolling videos on youtube to discover new music you may like. If it helps you.
