I want to rant about “Diego = DIO” scaling, because it completely changes the strongest within JJBA. There’s one of two interpretations here
1. DIO and Diego do NOT scale the same
Multiple feats back this idea up due to Johnny outpacing Diego, and Johnny is consistently relative to revolver bullets with his nail bullets. This would scale Diego relative to revolver bullets in terms of speed, which is MASSIVELY below DIO. We can then assume that his AP is also worse due to lack of feats + worse speed scaling
2. DIO and Diego DO scale the same
There’s no feats to back this up but you can argue implication from Araki in the JoJoveller guidebook
Part 7 The World doesn’t have a stand stat page, which implies that you can infer to Part 3 The World for further information regarding his physical abilities
Additionally, Part 8 Killer Queen does have a stand stat page but its stats are SPECIFICALLY measuring its ability, which is why all its stats are unknown. It’s even further supported by his page saying the only difference between its P4 self is the method of explosions, nothing mentioning physical stats being worse.
This even further implies that you can refer to Part 4 KQ’s page for information on physical stats, because everything else is referring to his abilities on that page
This would also explain why stands in SBR have such good stand stats. (D4C has an identical page to SP), stand stats suck tho so I wouldn’t use that for concrete evidence
Anyways, I believe that the 1st interpretation is the most consistent and viable for powerscaling. I believe SBR/JoJolion characters are fodder in stats.
However, I believe the 2nd interpretation does hold some basis given that it’s an implication by Araki himself rather than anti-feats in the series
I want to make some matchups under the idea of AU = OG scaling. I think they’d be way more interesting and a lot of fun
For instance, Johnny (AU = OG scaling) Vs Josuke8 (AU = OG scaling)
And of course, this would be a MASSIVE upscale for Valentine
