Learning AI by Doing

This channel began as an experiment in creative AI animation — exploring how short-form storytelling, visuals, and emotion behave at scale.

Over the past year, we’ve worked hands-on with AI tools for image generation, animation, prompting, and YouTube Shorts, learning through trial, error, and iteration rather than automation or templates.

Today, this channel is evolving.

Here we share:
• What we learned from scaling AI animation responsibly
• How to understand AI tools in plain language
• Practical tips for using ChatGPT and creative AI in everyday life
• Calm, family-friendly digital creativity
• Reflections on what works — and what doesn’t — when using AI thoughtfully

Our earlier videos remain as part of that learning journey.

This channel is for curious beginners, parents, small business owners, and anyone who wants to understand AI without hype, fear, or technical jargon.

AI is a tool. Learning to use it well takes time.

What is better than a delicious Sunday Cake?🍋🌜 The team of the felted lion, the tiger, the snake, the elephant and the penguin🌈🦁🐯🐘🦒🐧🐍 are baking Citronmåne (Lemon moon cake) in this video youtube.com/shorts/vhS7aFGAqz...

Here is the recipe👇

Ingredients
The Cake:

250 ml plant-based milk (e.g., soy or oat milk)

1 tsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)

50 ml neutral oil (e.g., canola or sunflower oil)

120 g granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla sugar (or vanilla extract)

Zest from 1 organic lemon

45 g almond flour

150 g all-purpose flour (wheat flour)

1¼ tsp baking powder

¾ tsp baking soda

A small pinch of salt

Lemon Glaze & Decoration:

100 g powdered sugar (icing sugar)

A little fresh lemon juice (and/or water) to mix the glaze

Optional: A tiny pinch of turmeric (if you want that classic bright yellow color)

Optional: Some extra lemon zest for topping

Instructions
Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F) convection. Line a small round cake pan or springform pan (approx. 22 cm / 8.5 inches) with parchment paper.

Make Plant "Buttermilk": Whisk the plant-based milk and apple cider vinegar together in a bowl and let it sit for a couple of minutes until it thickens slightly.

Mix Wet Ingredients: Whisk the oil, sugar, vanilla, salt, almond flour, and lemon zest into the milk mixture.

Add Dry Ingredients: Sift in the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Gently stir the batter until completely smooth and free of lumps.

Bake: Pour the batter into the pan and bake in the middle of the oven for about 30 minutes. Test with a toothpick or skewer – if it comes out clean, the cake is done. Let the cake cool completely.

Glaze: Mix the powdered sugar with lemon juice (and a tiny pinch of turmeric for color, if desired) until you have a thick, smooth glaze. Spread it over the cooled cake and top with a little extra lemon zest.

Tip: If you want to replicate the traditional half-moon shape, you can simply cut the round cake in half once it has cooled down!

🌈🦁🥰Creating a storyboard first in Gemini or Google Labs Flow is a great way to visualize the video once you have a great idea - it gives you the opportunity to adjust the prompt in detail when you see the images.

Also, a storyboard is just one simple generation to see multiple images.

I also often ask for the starter image and the end image. Images are free to generate, and videos cost credits, so generating several images and then adjusting the prompt saves credits.
