Adults say we are too young to understand, but if they take the time to EXPLAIN then we could understand. We aren't fucking stupid. We can pay attention to shit that doesn't make sense or stuff that is wrong. We can listen better than more adults can. Adults are usually so busy with things in their head that stuff can end up forgotten or mislooked. Adults say that they are trying their best to help us grow up, but their actions don't show that. This is something serious that needs to be talked about overall. All adults have room for improvement. Yes, they aren't perfect, but we aren't either. They think yelling at us is gonna help us. They try to assume based on stuff they see us doing without knowing the full thing. Most of the time, adults don't have the slightest clue what we go through. This generation ends up trusting their friends more than their family. This generation is so adamant on finding "a man", or "huzz" because they want love. They think we're sluts or whores or criminals. Kids can adapt to ways that they see helps with feeling better. Not all kids are the same. It's about our environment and how we're treated. It's not right. And needs to be talked aboutAdults think they know what's best for their child, and other adults don't even try. Sure they have a lot on their plate but so do we. There's a word called compromise for a reason. The world overall could go a lot smoother if people, not just adults, can learn to listen more. There needs to be a balance of that. People may not care. That's fine. Let it go in one ear and out the other. But just LISTEN.Adults need to understand that just because we are young, doesn't mean we don't know how to do stuff ourselves. We learn things. We can listen. As long as they can teach us and be fucking reasonable about it.
