Dylan responds. I find it funny that people are focusing on all the "negative" things I said when I thought I was being very fair in the video. I did make a few observations in the comments section one being that his confidence comes across as arrogance. And that's not just me, other people have taken his tone that way too. But that could simply be how we perceive him. I did say he likes to hear himself talk, which is all of us on YouTube. But I certainly didn't say anything "negative" about his character. I mean is he someone I could sit down and drink a beer with, I don't know. I think as he points out we're serving two different audiences, although many of our viewers overlap. I just find his hatred of Harley Benton's amusing. I mean I absolutely hate Ovation acoustic guitars with the plastic body, but I'm not going to buy one and cut it in half to prove how much I dislike them! 🤪

Carl Wockner is proof that people don't walk the walk when it comes to supporting musical artists. People sure do love to shout about how AI is "stealing" and how being anti-AI is "supporting artists" but...where is the support? I have been following this dude for about 5 years now, and he's one of the hardest working musicians I know and the fact that he's got such a small following is a damn crime!

I’m selling the 2025 Heritage H-150 Standard that I featured here on the channel.

It’s the original Standard Collection version, before the newer Standard II, finished in Original Sunburst with Seymour Duncan ’59s and the Heritage premium case.

I bought this one directly from the Heritage factory in Kalamazoo, and it’s been a fantastic guitar. I’m just thinning the herd a little.

If you’ve watched the review and ever thought, “I’d own that,” well… now’s your chance. 😄

It’s listed on Reverb now for $1,695. Link below.

Are guitar players the biggest bunch of whiny babies or is it just me? The bigger my channel gets, the more I get these comments on my videos that are just people complaining, "you shouldn't start a beginner on a guitar with a trem". "You need to talk faster" "You need to be more organized" "You need to learn how to play better" "Your vibrato sucks" "I don't like that guitar, you should review such and such brand" Good lord people. Then I call out their complaints and I'M the one being negative "You need a thicker skin" "You can't handle criticism" "I'm just trying to help you be better" Mind you, these are people with no subscribers and no content...yes, please, tell me how to run a YouTube channel, because I only have over 14,000 subs and growing daily, and you have...like...zero! LOL.

I think everyone in the YouTube guitar community needs to acknowledge Average Joe's Gear Talk. Joe has really been stepping up his YouTube game lately. Great thumbnails, his guitar playing has gotten so good, and he's really comfortable in front of the camera. If you haven't checked out his channel, give it a look!

Some people want to continually argue with me that "nobody says Epiphone Les Paul's aren't really Les Paul's" oh? This guy gets it!
