how to do shading on a character in capcut: step 1 » duplicate the masking & add a b&w filter on it step 2 » on the duplicated masking, go to “adjust” and then go to the “graphs” tool step 3 » lower the graph all the way down to achieve a black silhouette, and then go to “splice” to adjust how dark/light you want the shadowing to be—then adjust the shadow on the character to your liking step 4 » go to “effects” and click on “video effects” and then search up “blur” step 5 » while on the effect, click “object” and place the blur effect on the silhouette masking, and then adjust the blurring to your liking i’ve been asked this again, so i figured i’d make a step by step guide! hopefully this helps <33
