Welcome to Soul Reasons 🤍
My mission is to help others find safety, clarity, and spiritual connection through compassion, trauma healing, and intuitive inner work. I share perspectives on nervous system healing, inner child reconnection, emotional recovery, and the deeper spiritual truths that guide us through life’s most challenging moments.
I also teach spiritual protection, energetic boundaries, and manifestation principles — helping you recognize your own power, access your inner guidance, and create a life aligned with your True Self.

Soul Reasons
Breath work for caregivers and for anyone who needs to calm the nervous system:
🌙 Option A: Left Nostril Breathing (for calm & restoration)
What it supports:
• Deep relaxation
• Emotional regulation
• Anxiety and overwhelm
• Cooling excess stress or agitation
• Preparing for rest or sleep
1. Sit comfortably and let your shoulders soften
2. Bring your right hand up
3. Use your right thumb to gently close your right nostril
4. Keep your left nostril open
5. Inhale slowly through the left nostril
6. Exhale slowly through the left nostril
7. Let the breath be smooth and unforced
8. Continue for 5–10 breaths (about 1–2 minutes)
9. Release your hand and breathe normally for a moment
Optional inner cue:
As you inhale, think “I receive calm.”
As you exhale, think “I release tension.”
…pause here for a breath…
Why it works:
The left nostril is linked to the parasympathetic nervous system—the body’s “rest and restore” mode.
When to use it:
• After emotional caregiving moments
• When your chest feels tight or heavy
• Before sleep or during burnout
How it feels:
Like a soft exhale for your whole nervous system…
Option B: Right Nostril Breathing (for clarity & gentle energy)
(Use this only when you need focus—not when you feel anxious.)
What it supports:
• Mental clarity
• Focus and alertness
• Lifting fatigue or sluggishness
• Motivation without overstimulation
1. Sit comfortably
2. Bring your right hand up
3. Use your right ring finger or pinky to gently close your left nostril
4. Keep your right nostril open
5. Inhale slowly through the right nostril
6. Exhale slowly through the right nostril
7. Keep the breath calm, not fast
8. Continue for 5–8 breaths
9. Release and return to normal breathing
Why it works:
The right nostril activates the sympathetic nervous system—supporting alertness and action.
When to use it:
• When exhaustion feels foggy rather than anxious
• Before tasks that require presence or decision-making
• In the morning, gently
How it feels:
Like turning on a soft inner light…
🌸 Important Gentle Guidelines
• Never strain your breath
• If you feel dizzy, stop and breathe normally
• Short sessions are powerful—more is not better
• If one nostril feels blocked, choose the other or pause

Restorative Grounding Breath:
How to do it (2–3 minutes)
You can do this standing, sitting, or even leaning against a wall.
1. Let your shoulders soften
2. Inhale slowly through your nose for 4 counts
3. Exhale gently through your mouth for 6 counts
4. Let the exhale feel like a quiet release
5. Repeat 6–10 times
đź’› Longer exhales signal safety to your nervous system and calm mental fatigue.
Soft visualization (optional):
As you inhale, imagine warm light filling your chest.
As you exhale, imagine weight draining out of your shoulders and spine.
…pause here for a breath…

🌱 When You Feel Overstimulated or Emotionally Full: Box Breathing (4–4–4–4)
This is ideal between tasks, after emotional moments, or before responding to someone.
• Inhale 4
• Hold 4
• Exhale 4
• Hold 4
Repeat 4 cycles.
This brings your energy back into balance, especially when your mind feels scattered.

🌙 When Exhaustion Feels Heavy or Hopeless: Hand-on-Heart Breathing
This one is deeply comforting.
1. Place one hand on your chest, one on your belly
2. Breathe naturally—no counting
3. Whisper silently: “I am allowed to pause.”
Even 3 breaths here can soften emotional fatigue.

Today take a little time and do some automatic writing. You can write about anything. Maybe it's something you want the answer to, something you want clarity on, something you're confused about; maybe there's a feeling you want to explore or something you want manifest. Whatever it is take your pen and pad and just let it flow without stopping for a page or 2. If this process provides you comfort or insight think about this as a go to tool when you're stuck or need motivation.
I did a video titled The Artist's Way if you want more info on this process.

Take a few minutes this a.m.- grab a pen and pad and just start writing. If you're not sure what to write, write that but don't stop writing until you've written a page or 2. This is your opportunity to do a brain dump and let go of whatever comes to mind, whatever's been holding your mind or weighing on your energy. When you're done, see how you feel. If you feel better, lighter, relieved, etc. consider doing it again tomorrow :)
