It’s less of a plan and more of a gentle look at what I want to spend my time making this year, and why these projects are calling to me right now 🧵✂️

I’ve just shared a brand new sewing tutorial showing how to make a Christmas crown using a free template ✨🎄

In the video, I walk you through three different ways to sew it:
• scrap-busting patchwork with a tulle overlay
• smooth patchwork using small scraps
• a quick reversible version (perfect for matching crowns)

It’s beginner-friendly, uses what you already have in your sewing stash, and makes a lovely handmade addition to the festive season. Plus, it can be reused!

This beginner-friendly project lets you sew a sweet little doll plus seven fabric adventures: a campsite, sunny hills, picnic, hammock, beach, swing, and a treehouse. 🌳⛺️🌸

You can make it with fabric scraps or felt, and use it as a book or open it up like a tiny world (see pictures).
