The one thing I’ve noticed in media is that if a show has a cast of LGBTQ + characters then it will immediately be popular no matter how terrible the writing or pacing is for said movie/show. People only watch it because it has queer people involved, if it didn’t, they would hate it or just not watch it at all. A prime example is both Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel, both shows have an abundance of queer characters but has bad writing, story building, pacing and more. And yet it’s still a popular show. The same goes for Helluva Boss bad writing but who cares, there are queer characters in the show so I should like it right? It’s genuinely sad to see how blind people are when it comes to a show/movie having queer characters.
