I found the perfect addition for the NES USB-C Multi AV Out mod last night. While this week will be short and the weekend busy with family stuff, I'll probably finish the redesign by end of next week as long as can manage closing other projects.

The NES mod will send a design update as I found out why it's "not" working. So it'll be a bit longer before the release.

There's deviation in design between the front loader and original FMC design that wants that 9V that the FMC never had. Scouring through incomplete schematics and toning things out got me thinking and finally found out the problem - and here I thought that'd it'd be as simple as the FMC was lol

almost out of the WiiU docking station mod, and working on V2 of the design so brain can have something different. It'll be easier for fitting and easier for me to assemble.

don't want to start moving into redesign projects when I have enough on my plate lol still miffed about the NES's being dumb, but that's for another day o .o

soooo.... NY passed their bill to keep the lights on and buried state mandated manufacturing surveillance on additive and subtractive tools. zero exceptions, zero real processes, and all in the name of ghost guns. you've been warned by many and it's becoming the reality.

pardon my French, but fk off our tools. if there's a problem tackle the root people and their root issues. these rules only make things impossibly more expensive for everyone in a time where you choose to eat or pay a bill if you can pay either.

I'll be reviewing everything as if they target sellers to NY to prove compliance, I will restrict my offerings there.

The PS2 will be up today! I thought of changes to do after having it uploaded and ready so I'ma do that, re-up, release, and done.

HOWEVER AND IMPORTANTLY! there is a current parts shortage for the sink controller and lead time to be able to order them is expected on 9/28/26 as the manufacturer is releasing an updated version and individual IC purchases on digikey and mouser have dried up so pre-orders won't be fulfilled 'till late October / early November when the new IC can be ordered.

busy day!

The legislative breakfast today was very good. Got the point of contact for the congressman so I can add my voice in advocating efforts with families with people with disabilities, but also what I've talked about regarding manufacturing too.

The PS2 vid should be uploaded today and released tomorrow🤞finished it last night and today's fresh eyes and ears will judge it. I changed how I worked out balancing audio which I think worked out well - don't judge me too hard lol Then it'll be the PSOne vid.

The 3DS I'm working on, may be much harder than I think it'll be to repair as I found shorted caps that are in the coating around the internal storage IC. Gonna be looking at other bots on it and see what it will take to bring the board back to life, or if the water damage took its toll - which would suck because there was barely any corrosion and a little rust.

The PS2 USB-C mod is just about done. Did some more recording to edit tonight.

Got a repair job to see possibly fixing up water damage. Got a number of shorted out caps where one cluster of shorts is under the CPU. Hopefully it's just the caps, but I need still check underneath the shields for things.

Not sure how much of things I'll get done tomorrow as I have a legislative breakfast to attend. Wish me luck on making connections and raise awareness against problems from manufacturing BS some states have started clearing the path for.

The order of the day is editing.

A side project is gonna have me learning freecad, and that's gonna take me ages to learn since a lot I can do faster with what I use now, but can only do what I want for the new bit in actual cad software.

I'm waiting on another NES as the problem with the one I currently have is gonna take longer than I'd like to have the vid and such made to release the USB-C for it. It's an interesting mystery project.
