Disaster Breakdown

Disaster Breakdown is an online education and informative series on Air and other accidents. We take a closer look at some of the most tragic events in aviation history.

DISCLAIMER
I am not a pilot. I do have some education in aviation, aerodynamics, and meteorology. However, my main background is in video and media production, that is what I went to school for. I have not and won't ever try to investigate or speculate about any incident. I collate sources that are (for the most part) publicly available, including official accident reports when writing my videos. Given the nature of these types of videos, there may come occasions where information could be false or misleading. I am but a one person team as I try to fact-check everything to the best of my ability. It is important that myself and viewers pick up on anything that could be wrong, and I will try and correct them as and when I can.
Thank you.

Hello Everyone!

I'd like to give you a little update on the next video as it is approaching completion. As it stands right now I have around 80% of the video done at this point. By my estimate, it should clock in at around 50 minutes, though this is subject to a few rounds of viewings and changes. I have just one last segment of the video to produce before we get there though.

Okay... so I thought this one was going to be a straight forward one. But it turns out its like really interesting when you break down the whole investigative process. Investigators looked at a lot of scenarios before arriving at the conclusion they did which by the way, I couldn't believe it when I read it.

I look forward to sharing it with you. I'll be seeing you soon.

Chloe.

🛬🛬 UPDATE TIME! 🛬🛬

First of all, thank you all so much for your patience. I am now happy to say that the next video is tantalizingly close to done. The first cut of the full video was finished yesterday clocking in at nearly two hours. I will now be spending some time fine tuning and polishing it up for you.

It is the largest video I have ever produced that tells a story touching upon several different accidents, all over the world. It's something that has not been been covered all that well here on YouTube and it has been a large undertaking putting this one together, especially with making sure that cover everything that I would like to. This is a video I have wanted to produce for years, ever since it caught my interest, and I am finally closing in on it being finished. Just in time for Christmas!

You will have the video in your YouTube feed within the next week or so. (tweaks pending)

It will be the last video of the year and if you want to get your name at the end of the video, now is your chance! You have until Tuesday December 10th to pledge at £3 on Patreon before I record that segment.

Thank you all so much!

Regards
Chloe.

✈️✈️ Time for a production update! ✈️✈️

Yeah it's been a while since I uploaded. Apologies for that, I promise I am not dead, but lets get to the point... This next video is very big and will be the longest video I have ever produced. I will be so thrilled when I finally get to show it to you. So far it has been a lot of work with lots of practical things to sort out for it.

I have now reached the Editing Phase... Lets Gooo!

I want to level with you when I say that I have identified the sort of videos I would like to produce. I feel so much motivation to give these videos the time they need to cook, breathe and not be rushed into completion. Your patience is very much appreciated and the support I have received means so much to me. I feel so lucky to be doing this and I can't thank you all enough.

I will be back soon with another update, in the meantime, let me share some rough screenshots!

Thank you all so much

Disaster Breakdown

Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to drop by with a production update with where things stand with the next couple of videos. I am making preparations for my next big project, similar to how the 737 Max video was. I really liked that style of video and would really love to make more like that. There is one idea I've had floating around for a long time that I wish to finally get round to doing. (Longer time viewers might have an idea to what that might be, I alluded to it a number of times... I should really just hop to it...)

However in the meantime I have a shorter video that will be on its way soon to fill the gap. I hope to finish that and have it out to you on the back end of next week. Actually covering a case that I am surprised doesn't have a deep dive on YouTube yet...

I do apologize for not posting as much here. I have to say my personal life took an interesting twist a couple of months ago and my time is now sometimes split. Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and your incredible support. I don't know where I would be without you all.

Regards
Chloe.
