Hello from the Little House. This channel has been silent for almost a year. I left it in a shambles, the way you leave the house in the morning not realizing you're not going to come back. Today I did come back and I saw that there is some work to do!

The skill of the month thing that I had planned last year didn't work out. I just came up against all these real life limitations -- my time, my skill level in various things, and my ability to meet my own self-imposed deadlines.

But also I realized that one thing people really want from me is for me to be my very real, honest self. No more and no less.

Information and skills are very helpful, useful things. But also the Internet is DROWNING in them. What is also needed is the inspiration, and the calm and present "why," and also the connective tissue between skills and goals.

I haven't given up on making the skill-of-the-month club library of skills. If I can get a few more of those videos made and organized, I'll put them back up in some way that makes sense and is available to all of you. But I can't rush that. My "Impossible Farm" needs to be actually working before I do that.

In the meantime, I'm going to let this channel be a place for hanging out and talking about things. Little things, ordinary things, and things that matter.

I don't know that there are a lot of people who need that. But maybe there are. And I am absolutely sure that there are a few. If you are one of them today, you are welcome here.

I promise to be here as my real, honest self. No more and no less. And I'll do my very best to show up on Thursdays. :)
