Here in the UK we also have the most poisonous/toxic fungi as much as the rest of the World growing amongst us and as much as I love this time of year I feel it’s important to spread the word especially as we’re getting closer to prepare for the Worldwide Festivities of Thanksgiving, Christmas and also welcoming a New Year.

As a Mycology enthusiast, through my research and gaining more knowledge on the Genus (family) and how to identify and avoid these fungi.
The annual reports by the amount alone of the Public “assuming” some wild fungi are edible; many of which have resulted in fatal consequences; are phenomenal.
I aim to educate fellow enthusiasts (and their Dogs 🥰🐶🥰) to help them to remain safe whilst foraging for edibles this Autumn and future Autumnal foraging adventures.

I hope that on my travels one day I and/or other fellow budding Mycologists will find some of the above and record it/get footage so that we can share awareness on how to identify the above so that they can be correctly and accurately logged and opportunities are given for places to advise caution where necessary.
Our local authorities are extremely keen on the idea but with the power of social media, it is with hope that awareness can be shared Nationwide and beyond! 🙏🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🍄🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🙏🏼
