The Whiplash Sessions
After one season, while having had original plans to continue for a few seasons, The Whiplash Sessions finally say goodbye in our series finale episode discussing our thoughts on SummerSlam, everything that's transpired this summer in the pro wrestling industry and within @WWE as well, while also sharing our reasons of why we're no longer as passionate as we used to be as a pro wrestling podcast anymore.
Plus, let's face it: the pro wrestling community and its wrestling streamers/podcasters on YouTube and Twitch are EXTREMELY oversaturated, and with recent posts, news and updates coming out about Brock Lesnar's return (while a lawsuit was STILL ONGOING and not yet confirmed whether or not he was cleared), WWE essentially gave a HUGE MIDDLE FINGER to women everywhere in the entire industry, especially the women's division of its company across Raw, Smackdown, NXT, etc., considering Brock's association with Vince's abuses in said lawsuit.
And when Triple H did his White House promo on WWE's official social media platforms and the official White House socials as well, that was a serious slap to the face to everyone who was a pro wrestling fan that booed VERY LOUDLY that night during SummerSlam Weekend when the Presidential Fitness Test promotional video was playing in that stadium (because we know New Jersey and New York ABSOLUTELY HATES THE ORANGE FASCIST!), and a even further slap to indie wrestlers and WWE Superstars that are part of various marginalized communities as well, such as the Black and Indigenous communities, immigrant community, LGBTIQQA+ community, etc.
This is the beginning of the end for Pro Wrestling in general and it will happen soon. Not if, but when. We thank you for understanding and being patient with us as we transition away from the wrestling world and its community/industry, etc. for good and return to focus full time on our other various projects with @TheHorrorNerdExperience, @WanderlustWithLorelei, @MillennialGrannyGamer, @OconethStudios, @TheMacabreTavern and @LKTheHorrorNerd as well projects that's not fully YouTube-related.
Thank you and we'll see you again - just not here on The Whiplash Sessions.

The Whiplash Sessions
Okay, we're just about done releasing all past VODs, sidecasts and highlights, plus some YouTube Shorts coming soon and the Season Finale podcast episode.
After Monday, April 28th, 2025, we'll be calling it a wrap on Season One and taking a break for a few weeks or a month to let you catch up on everything, relax, enjoy yourselves and enjoy the content that was created so far. Granted, the majority of the content was not perfect and both of us were pretty tired throughout WrestleMania Week and Weekend while also dealing with technical difficulties, but we managed to power through.
In about one or two weeks, Lorelei and Yanni will return, hopefully with new members joining The Whiplash Sessions crew, to do wrestling/fighting/melee video game streams and we're working out a schedule to make it permanent so that each person on The Whiplash Sessions crew will take over and stream on certain days/times f the week playing the aforementioned wrestling/fighting/melee video games live on Twitch and YouTube, and then we'll be hosting Discord watch parties of all wrestling/fighting shows, events, PLEs, PPVs, documentaries, movies, etc. starting Monday April 25th with Monday Night RAW on Netflix.
Going forward, we'll be figuring everything out and working out the kinks from here on out and then return with Season Two of The Whiplash Sessions podcast series. Also, the e-fed wrestling promotion that we're creating known as XWA (Xtreme Wrestling Association) will be launching their membership application soon so if you wanna apply to join as a wrestler, tag team, manager, character, etc., let us know and we'll create everything for you. Unless you have your own creations all ready to go for us to download from the WWE 2K's Creation Suite, we'll just create them for you, then start hosting an one-time special tournament to determine inaugural champions for the first time ever, and special matches to determine the first ever number one contenders to said championships in each division, all while developing the promos, storylines, bookings, etc.
This will take about a month or two to progress through, so by then, we'll have our champions, divisions, contenders, official roster members, etc., and then start booking events/matches/shows, etc. for the entirety of the year until our biggest WrestleMania-style event happens and then we'll do a draft every year after that event.
And yes, we're making a casting call to find additional podcast co-hosts to join The Whiplash Sessions crew as well, so we'll be making an online application for everyone to apply and determine if you'll be a good fit after we review your applications and then interview you, then make our decision. We'll need one co-host to help with live watch parties for AEW events weekly, including their monthly PPVs, while looking for a second co-host to help out with the indies' weekly events and monthly PPV events, focusing primarily on MLW (Major League Wrestling), Game Changer Wrestling and possibly one more other promotion we're looking into, while Yanni and Lorelei (the main hosts of The Whiplash Sessions) will take on TNA, WWE, AAA Lucha Libre and WWE NXT. It's not official yet, but it'll be finalized once we hire the additional cohosts. And not only your duties will be cohosts for LIVESTREAMING wrestling show watch parties and PPVs/PLEs, etc. on a weekly and monthly basis on certain days/times of the week and month, but you'll also join in to be part of the podcast commentary in Season Two and all future seasons going forward and maybe even help out with playing wrestling/fighting/melee video games with us. Who knows? That'd be a cool thing to do with our crew and eventually make a living off on this when we get new Patreon subscribers and become YouTube Partner, etc.
Stay tuned. We have a lot of exciting new changes, updates and more coming your way. It's going to be ONE HELL OF A JOURNEY.

The Whiplash Sessions
So we'll be wrapping up Season 1 with a brand new Season Finale episode, which will give us the time off that's absolutely needed to reformat and figure out the next steps for Season Two and the creative direction we're going towards that we'll be sticking with moving forward.
We can't exactly reveal what kind of content you'll see in Season Two, but we can say we'll be doing WAAAYYY BETTER than that racist, bigoted POS Tony Hinchcliffe. That should give you a clue of what kind of exciting wrestling podcast content you'll see going forward soon. Let's just say if there's ever a Roast of WrestleMania 2 in 2026, and our content is that damn good enough by then, Triple H from @WWE needs to book us to host The Roast of WrestleMania EVERY FREAKING YEAR. That is all.
Okay, we've dropped enough hints, folks.
Anyway, stay tuned for more details on what's next, but before we go, just wanna remind everyone that while live watchalongs/sidecasts/watch parties will be paused for a while from Twitch and YouTube and only will happen exclusively via Discord privately with our community, we'll still be doing wrestling video game livestreams on Twitch and YouTube regardless until such a time if and when we return to bring back live watch parties of various wrestling shows/events in the future and have finally gotten around to hiring the right people to help co-host these live watch parties for WWE, @tnawrestling, @WWENXT, @luchalibreaaatv, @mlw, @AEW and all other wrestling promotions going forward. Having extra co-hosts to help cover these other wrestling promotions is a good idea and a good use of delegating our duties so that we can cover all the wrestling and all the wrestling industry news properly while having fun creating original and hilarious AF content for you all soon.
See you soon, everyone. Until then, this is Lorelei and Yanni signing off for now.

The Whiplash Sessions
Hey, everyone! It's officially WrestleMania WEEK!
Starting tonight, one of the co-hosts known as @WanderlustWithLorelei aka @LKTheHorrorNerd aka @MillennialGrannyGamer will be doing a week-long live sidecast series covering the entirety of WrestleMania Week, LIVE EXCLUSIVELY ON TWITCH at 8 P.M. EST!
The following schedule will look like this:

- WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony LIVE SIDECAST via Twitch on April 18th/19th at 1 A.M. EST
There'll be featured wrestling video game sessions in between events/live sidecasts throughout the week, then this WrestleMania Weekend, BOTH hosts of The Whiplash Sessions Lorelei and Yanni of @TheMacabreTavern will be appearing on Twitch for WrestleMania 41 Saturday and WrestleMania 41 Sunday, as well as NXT Stand & Deliver on Saturday.
The schedule for WrestleMania Weekend will look like this:
- NXT Stand & Deliver Saturday LIVE SIDECAST via Twitch on April 19th, 2025 at 12 P.M. EST (featuring Lorelei)
- WrestleMania 41 Saturday LIVE SIDECAST via Twitch on April 19th, 2025 at 4 P.M. EST (featuring Lorelei and Yanni*)
- WrestleMania 41 Sunday LIVE SIDECAST via Twitch on April 20th, 2025 at 4 P.M. EST (featuring Lorelei and Yanni*)
* means that Yanni will only be appearing for parts of the live sidecasts as they are busy for parts of the WrestleMania Weekend but will show up on and off throughout the weekend.
The schedule for post-WrestleMania is only going to feature one of the co-hosts of The Whiplash Sessions, which is Lorelei ONLY for the following events/shows:
- The Roast of WrestleMania featuring Tony Hinchcliffe & Friends (supposed to be available live on Peacock or on @WWE's official YouTube channel - not confirmed yet) LIVE SIDECAST via Twitch on April 20th, 2025 around 1 A.M. EST (NOTE: STILL NOT CONFIRMED YET, as WWE didn't announce whether The Roast of WrestleMania will be on Peacock or elsewhere yet)
- RAW After 'Mania on Netflix LIVE SIDECAST via Twitch on April 21st, 2025 at 8 P.M. EST
- WWE NXT After Stand & Deliver LIVE SIDECAST via Twitch on April 22nd, 2025 at 8 P.M. EST
- Smackdown After 'Mania LIVE SIDECAST via Twitch on April 25th, 2025 at 8 P.M. EST
In-between all events/shows, etc., the following wrestling video games is expected to be streamed exclusively on Twitch for the time being, since the streaming setups are not fully ready yet to handle multi-streaming on both Twitch and YouTube:
- Any and all WWE 2K games, including WWE 2K Battlegrounds and the recently released WWE 2K25 via @WWEGames (primarily on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S)
- ECW Hardcore Revolution (PS1)
- ECW Anarchy Rulz (PS1)
- WWF WrestleMania 2000 (N64)
- RetroMania Wrestling (Xbox Series X|S - yet to be confirmed)
- AEW Fight Forever (Xbox Series X|S - not yet confirmed, possibly will scrap doing this game)
- WWE SmackDown! vs Raw Series (PS2/PS3 - yet to be confirmed)
Due to scheduling and the time slots for all of WrestleMania Week and Weekend, the gaming sessions will most likely be short and not as long as planned, due to some shows/events lasting up to 9 hours on Saturday and Sunday, while other shows will last anywhere between 2-6 hours. In between shows/events/wrestling gaming sessions, there'll be plenty of bathroom/meal/nap breaks between both co-hosts of The Whiplash Sessions.
You'll then get what's called Stream Highlights and Stream VODs, including YouTube Shorts of ALL scheduled live sidecasts, gaming sessions, etc., to share our reactions to the entirety of WrestleMania Week and Weekend, which will all be uploaded to YouTube shortly after each live sidecast/event, etc., but not officially published until sometime next week between April 26th to May 1st, as it'll take time to get editing done, all the YouTube thumbnails done and all the video descriptions, tags, etc. typed up and ready to go.
After all this is over, our Season Finale podcast episode featuring a Post-WrestleMania dissection and other topics to talk about will be uploaded by May 2nd, 2025 or May 9th, 2025. We're hoping to get all this done and then start revealing why we're wrapping it up a bit early with Season 1 of The Whiplash Sessions and tell you more about what we plan to do with our wrestling podcast and wrestling gaming livestreams, live sidecasts and more going forward before launching Season 2 of The Whiplash Sessions later this Summer.
But most likely, there'll be some discussion about how to do WrestleMania Week and Weekend going forward every year, but the goal is to try to have seasons of our podcast all year long and do a special Season Finale every season around WrestleMania Week/Weekend, but that's an important discussion for another time.
That's all the details for now, and you can find all the scheduled events, etc. via Twitch here:

We'll be seeing you soon. Until then, have a FUN WrestleMania Week and Weekend, everyone!

The Whiplash Sessions
Every Saturday starting April 5th (except for WrestleMania Week/Weekend), The Whiplash Sessions will livestream a variety of wrestling video games for fun while the XWA (our new e-fed promotion) is still being built and created via the WWE 2K's Creation Suite, and you'll see The Whiplash Sessions livestream every Saturday BOTH ON TWITCH AND YOUTUBE at 5 P.M. EST.
When the new setups are finished and both the hosts has the ability to multi-stream on much better streaming/PC, etc. setups again, we'll revisit the stream schedule and figure out what days of the week and the time slots we'll be streaming (there's a possibility of streaming 3-4 days a week in the future), so until then, we'll see you in the Squared Circle laying smackdowns and wrecking havoc all over in these really cool wrestling video games!

The Whiplash Sessions
Temporarily, one of the hosts of The Whiplash Sessions, @WanderlustWithLorelei, will be streaming wrestling video games at least one day a week to get the hang of things and whatnot before premiering the XWA Roster, along with its new arenas, championships and a new schedule that’ll feature the best of e-fed wrestling matches, rivalries, intense competition and emotionally charged storylines that will keep you on the edge of your seats.
XWA (Xtreme Wrestling Association) will be opening its doors with an online application for you to submit your created characters, wrestlers, managers, tag teams, factions, etc. for us to create or download for you! The applications will then reviewed to determine what needs to be created and/or where to download your own creations to be added to the XWA Rosters on different brands.
After that, we’ll be announcing the draft to make decisions on who goes to which brand/show, and then we kick things off with tournaments to determine who will be champions and who will be number one contenders. Once concluded, we then move on to create weekly shows, matches, storylines, etc.
Stay tuned later this week for more details about the online application and when you’ll be able to apply to join the XWA!
In the meantime, Lorelei of The Whiplash Sessions is working on setting up a schedule to ease into wrestling video game streams that will only happen one day a week until after WrestleMania when we get together again to figure out what our schedules will be like and the content that we’re planning to premiere and announce in a post-WrestleMania podcast episode. See you soon.

The Whiplash Sessions
Got some new changes coming your way soon after WrestleMania.
Stay tuned for more details when we announce it in a brand new podcast episode that will premiere AFTER WrestleMania.
In the meantime, we'll have a new episode this week soon, then taking a break for the next few weeks to let the storylines play out on @WWE RAW, SmackDown, NXT, etc. on the Road to WrestleMania. After that, we'll be returning with a pre-WrestleMania podcast episode to discuss everything that's happened so far (scheduled to be filmed/recorded on April 11th and releasing next day on April 12th), then getting ready for WrestleMania Week and WrestleMania Weekend.
After April 22nd, we'll be taking a break for about maybe two weeks then release the aforementioned brand new podcast episode discussing the new changes and what we'll be doing on The Whiplash Sessions going forward.
That's all for now. See you soon.

The Whiplash Sessions
The Whiplash Sessions is finally starting to do wrestling video game streams on Twitch exclusively (for the time being - we're upgrading our setups to a point where it'll be able to handle multi-streaming soon), with host @WanderlustWithLorelei leading the gaming streams and Yanni Hamburger of @TheMacabreTavern to provide hilarious and exciting voiceover commentary while also being a General Manager for one of the brands we're going to launch within an e-fed that we're creating.
It's a work in progress, but we have two GMs, one person on commentary, one person on screen to control the actions and a lot of chaotic fun to be had. Especially with @WWEGames and other wrestling video games we'll be presenting on Twitch (and YouTube and other streaming platforms soon).
We'll also be exploring a lot of other wrestling video games.
In the meantime, both the hosts of The Whiplash Sessions are figuring out a decent live sidecasting schedule with the possibility of Yanni taking on the TNA and MLW weekly live events and Lorelei taking on the weekly WWE/NXT events and the two together occasionally live sidecasting a mix of various wrestling shows/events on a weekly basis and eventually getting to a point where we'll have a monthly PLE/PPV event schedule for all the wrestling promotions/companies.
In the meantime, we're focusing on @WWE, @mlw, @tnawrestling, @WWENXT and occasionally @AEW (just to cover the important news/updates to see if anyone's gotten released, injured or is just tired of wrestling for AEW or for Tony Khan in general since he seems to keep messing up so much behind the scenes), but I think we'll be primarily focused on WWE, MLW, TNA and WWE NXT and a few other indie promotions, particularly out in the Far East (aka Japan), so that's gonna be a lot of fun to watch.
We'll still have a few more podcast episodes to cover, but will figure out when we wrap up Season One of The Whiplash Sessions and then start production on Season Two. Originally, we were gonna start around end of WrestleMania, but we got so excited to dive in, so we'll see how the next few episodes go and how our schedules will go (seeing as we're still looking for a third co-host and possibly a fourth co-host soon) especially since we'll be busy with other projects, podcasts, etc.
Stay tuned for more details to come.
