Last night’s (Monday) Women, Children and Families Commission board meeting in Framingham was both productive and enlightening.

My fellow commissioners and I heard from the Executive Director of the Volunteer Lawyers Project, an organization that provides free civil legal services to low income individuals.

We learned about the most pressing legal needs facing women and their children in our community and the vital support the Volunteer Lawyers Project provides to help them.

Reflecting on an extraordinary two days at the MIT Kuo Sharper Center for Prosperity and Entrepreneurship conference “Innovation in Global Growth Markets: Prosperity Through Entrepreneurship”.

I had the honor of connecting with global leaders, investors, policymakers and entrepreneurs from across Africa, Asia, and the Arab region. Among the many remarkable people in the room, I had the privilege of meeting former U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Michael Ratney (pictured with me).

These are spaces where ideas meet action and the conversations are as global as they are substantive. I am a lifelong learner and moments like this remind me exactly why. 🌎✨

Early Thursday morning at the @mitksc MIT Kuo Sharper Center for Prosperity and Entrepreneurship conference. It was a global gathering of leaders, investors, entrepreneurs and policymakers from Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Arab region and beyond.✨

The conversations were substantive and timely, exploring what it truly means to build prosperity with purpose, how innovation driven ecosystems can move beyond traditional capital, and what a new calculus for global prosperity actually looks like in practice.
