AMW stands for Amsterdam’s Most Wanted, our nickname is the big red machine.
We are an online radio station, a community-driven platform, and an exponent that is listened to in more than 150 countries.
The station has been around for 25 years since it started as a pirate dance station illicitly placing transmitters all over town bringing underground vibes to the city of Amsterdam.
Meanwhile, it functions as an international platform and creative breeding ground, an autonomous institute on- and offline that provides a stage for everyone with beautiful ideas and musical or artistic talents.
AMW provides its platform for (upcoming) artists and other creators to showcase their talent and share their unique perspectives.
We aim to inspire, educate, and provide education in music and night culture, connect listeners in meaningful ways, promote inclusivity, and equality, and celebrate life.
