Character and Cognition

Hello everyone!
This is a short notice that I will rebrand this channel from "Invisible Compass" to "Character & Cognition".
From the start, I wanted to focus on the two questions "How to Live?" and "How to Think?". I was in the past mostly focused on "How to Think" (especially on Mental Models).
This will change now. I want to combine those two questions more. When character and cognition are viewed together, that is when both become effective.

Thank you for your support over the last year. Of course, I hope you stay during this transition with this channel.

The Mental Models Videos will all stay and from time to time there will be some added (especially those from Nassim Nicholas Taleb) but they will not be the main focus anymore.

In addition to this Youtube Channel I created the Character&Cognition Substack with weekly articles.

Thank you for being part of this and as always, I wish you a fantastic day!

Character and Cognition

Hey everyone!
In the last months, I have been building the Mental Models for Beginners Course.
There is a lot of material about Mental Models out there, but all scattered and no practical application is given.
The course teaches a foundational understanding of Mental Models and you will learn to apply each of the 15 Mental Models from this course. The aim is, that after this course (in which we build the whole foundation) you can go out by yourself and effectively acquire new Mental Models which help you solve problems and make better decisions.

What this course offers:
- Learn the basics of Mental Models
- Acquire 15 Mental Models
- With the use of Mental Models solve a problem/decision you are facing

If not, no problem! Thank you anyway for following this channel, watching the videos and hopefully getting value out of them!

Have a great day!

Character and Cognition

Hello everyone!
I have been planning to create a Video Series about Charlie Munger, which covers basically the questions "How to Think" (Mental Models) + "How to Live".
1. What do you think about Videos longer than 30min?
2. What do consider as an optimal video length?
