We are here in this world for only a short time so we need to stop, look around and take it all in.

Well my homemade sauerkraut is ready!! About a month ago I started to ferment the cabbage and today was the day to test it out! It was delicious! I have attached some photos so you can see the finished product.
It was so easy and sauerkraut is super easy to make and really good for you. If you are interested in a video or want the recipe, just let me know.

Hello!
It’s been a while. I just wanted to share some photos that I’ve been collecting at the feeders. As you all know I have the #birdfy feeder for my 2 hummingbirds (and I’m happy to have the 2 of them, let me tell you!).
My daughter also bought me the #birdbuddy seed feeder for my other outside “pets”. I wanted to share a few of the photos I captured at these feeders. It’s so much fun and I highly recommend these. Have a wonderful Saturday!

Today, in the United States, it is Memorial Day. Many of us consider this the kickoff to summer and highlight it with a barbecue and outdoor activities.
But it has profound meaning. It is a time to memorialize those that have given the ultimate sacrifice for all of us and our country. Try to take a moment today to remember all of those who fought for our freedoms.
I feel blessed and grateful.

Hello Everyone! I just wanted to introduce you to a new member of the family! Meet Lucy!
She is the new member of my daughter’s family! But of course, the fur sister to Ava and Grace! Ava loves her….Grace not so much!
That will change though, I am sure!
Lucy is 9 weeks old and is a long-haired miniature dachshund. And she is as sweet as can be! ♥️♥️♥️

Hello!
I just wanted to give you all an update. Grace is 6 months old as you know, and suddenly went into full blown heat on Friday! We had a scheduled date to have her spayed next week but moved it up to this morning. Grace was so good and is back home and resting now. She will be out of commission for a couple of days but Ava was actually happy to see her back home. All is well! Thank you for being here and part of this adventure!
