I want a place where you can come to relax, learn and be inspired to enjoy the world around us- in its beautiful splendor! We are here in this world for only a short time so we need to stop, look around and take it all in.

Today we remember and pray for all who lost their lives during the horrific terrorist attack on our country on September 11, 2001.
We pray for them and the families they left behind.
I am so grateful and moved by the selfless acts of the firefighters and other first responders who risked their lives so others could live.

We must always remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and those left behind to keep the memory alive.

Hi Everyone!
I was able to enjoy some potatoes from my harvest! They were delicious and so buttery! I highly recommend planting a crop of your own. They are the perfect “set it and forget it” crop!

Well my homemade sauerkraut is ready!! About a month ago I started to ferment the cabbage and today was the day to test it out! It was delicious! I have attached some photos so you can see the finished product.
It was so easy and sauerkraut is super easy to make and really good for you. If you are interested in a video or want the recipe, just let me know.

Hello!
It’s been a while. I just wanted to share some photos that I’ve been collecting at the feeders. As you all know I have the #birdfy feeder for my 2 hummingbirds (and I’m happy to have the 2 of them, let me tell you!).
My daughter also bought me the #birdbuddy seed feeder for my other outside “pets”. I wanted to share a few of the photos I captured at these feeders. It’s so much fun and I highly recommend these. Have a wonderful Saturday!
