When life becomes overwhelming, just remember this: this life is but a speck, in contrast to eternity. Everything in this world is designed to keep our focus on the temporary and we lose sight of the much bigger and eternal picture of what is waiting on the other side of this broken fragment of our lives.

This temporary is meant to separate the wheat from the chaff, the sheep from the goats. Nothing more, nothing less.

The sooner you root the unhealthy, toxic, and broken people (the ones not trying to get better) out of your personal life, the sooner you can move on to complete your own inner healing. Once you’ve healed, you can then invite other, healthy people back into your life. A few simple tests will help you determine who stays, and who goes.

If you can’t cut out the cancers, you’ll never completely heal. Know who you are, in Jesus, to know your value.
