COTA to Become the New Home of American IGTC Racing from 2027! 🇺🇸🏁
It has been officially confirmed that the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, will replace Indianapolis as the host of the Texas 8 Hours, becoming the Intercontinental GT Challenge’s North American round from 2027 onwards.
The IGTC’s North American journey began at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca with the California 8 Hours, which ran from 2017 to 2019, before the Indianapolis 8 Hours took over in 2020. Indy has since hosted six consecutive editions of the 8 Hour event and will welcome the series for a seventh and final time this October.
The inaugural Texas 8 Hours is scheduled for May 7–9, 2027. Just like its predecessors at Laguna Seca and Indianapolis, the event will once again be a joint round of both the Intercontinental GT Challenge and GT World Challenge America championships.

The Last 5 WINNERS at the Spa 24h 🏆🇧🇪
Remarkably, the last six editions of the Spa 24 Hours have produced six different overall-winning manufacturers! 🤯
After Porsche claimed victory in 2020, Ferrari and Iron Lynx triumphed in 2021 before Mercedes and Akkodis ASP delivered a dominant performance in 2022.
In 2023, BMW secured a sensational 25th overall Spa victory thanks to Rowe Racing, before Aston Martin and Belgian squad Comtoyou Racing ended a 76-year wait for victory in 2024 as the British brand took their first win since 1948.
Most recently, Lamborghini earned its first-ever CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa win in 2025, with GRT Grasser Racing taking the chequered flag in the No. 63 Huracán GT3.
Will this incredible streak continue in 2026 with a seventh consecutive different manufacturer taking victory? If so, it would need to be Audi, Chevrolet, Ford, or McLaren standing on the top step, and honestly, they have a realistic shot of taking the win! 👀🏁
