Formula Jonah BECOMES ➡️ FJ Endurance 🔥
HUGE CHANGE for 2026.
I’m officially rebranding this channel from Formula Jonah to FJ Endurance, marking a new era focused fully on the world of endurance sports car racing, and taking this channel further than ever before.
This journey began back in 2020, when I started with F1 gaming content. In 2021, the channel expanded into real-world Formula 1 coverage, alongside occasional endurance racing videos that I would put out. Over time, that passion continued to grow, leading to a full shift toward WEC, IMSA, Le Mans, and endurance racing as a whole in 2022.
One challenge during that transition and since was the channel name itself. Formula Jonah still reflected a Formula 1 identity, even though the content had evolved beyond that. After months of planning and consideration, I’ve decided it’s time to move forward, leaving the “Formula” era behind and fully embracing the endurance world under the FJ Endurance banner.
This rebrand allows the channel’s name, identity, and content to finally align. It better represents what this channel stands for today and what it will continue to grow into moving forward.
I believe this change will help bring more endurance racing fans into the community, while also making it clearer for current viewers exactly what this channel represents.
2026 marks the start of a new era.
Let’s kick it off with a bang! 🏁

2025 Season… COMPLETE ✅
What a year it’s been for both motor racing and this channel.
167 videos, over 50 live streams, and an increase of more than 17,000 subscribers since the start of the year, and all of it tells me that 2025 has been a very positive season for this page!
I’ve spent more time working on content for this channel than ever before, and it was absolutely worth it. The existence of this channel, and the drive I bring to every single video, is because of you. I can’t thank you enough for the incredible support, it truly means a lot to me!
Special thanks to the the photographers who provide photos and videos for the channel, the people who help behind the scenes to make this channel exist, and a big thank you to the resident WEC expert and live stream co-host David, who has been an integral part of this 2025 adventure.
Looking ahead, 2026 is going to be epic. There are a couple of things I’m really excited to share, with one announcement coming early in the new year. 👀
For now, though, I’m taking a well earned break over the holidays before getting back to work in early January as we prepare for another season of endurance sports car racing!!
I wish you, your family, and your friends a happy holiday season as we head into an exciting new year.
See you in 2026!

Connor Zilisch Joins Cadillac for the Rolex 24!
Rising American star Connor Zilisch has officially been confirmed for his first IMSA GTP start, where he’ll race for the overall win at the Rolex 24 at Daytona with Action Express Racing in the No. 31 Whelen Cadillac.
Zilisch’s rise through the ranks has been rapid. While continuing his climb toward the top of NASCAR, he’s already made a major impact in sports car racing. In 2024, he won the Rolex 24 in LMP2 with ERA Motorsports, becoming the second-youngest winner in the event’s history at just 17 years old.
He also competed in the most recent Rolex 24, driving a one-off TF Sport and Trackhouse Corvette entry in GTD PRO. But in 2026, Zilisch finally steps into a top-level GTP ride with a team that won the final two IMSA rounds of the season, and he’ll be aiming to add the overall Rolex 24 victory to his growing résumé.

Proton Look to CONTINUE Porsche 963 Program 👀
Following their exit from the WEC Hypercar class, a move that leaves Porsche without representation in Hypercar for 2026, Proton Competition is actively exploring ways to keep its Porsche 963 program alive. The most likely outcome currently points toward a return to IMSA.
Proton made their IMSA GTP debut in 2023 and wasted no time making an impact, securing their first-ever overall podium at Petit Le Mans in the German squad’s inaugural season. The No. 5 Mustang Sampling Porsche 963 last raced in 2025, and team principal Christian Ried has openly stated his desire to bring his team back to IMSA in 2026, potentially as soon as the 12 Hours of Sebring.
Beyond IMSA, Proton has also suggested that their 963s could find a future home in the Asian Le Mans Series, with that option firmly under consideration.
🤞Here’s hoping the iconic black-and-gold No. 5 Porsche is back on the GTP grid very soon!

Vanwall Prepares for a Hypercar Comeback!
The Austrian-flagged squad has officially announced their intention to join the new Hypercar class in the Asian Le Mans Series beginning in the 2026–2027 season.
Vanwall plans to field an updated evolution of the Vandervell 680 LMH, and ALMS may only be the first step. Team principal Colin Kolles has hinted at a broader comeback, revealing that the squad has held “very constructive discussions with the WEC and ACO regarding rejoining the WEC in 2027,” which could mark a return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The brand last competed in Hypercar in 2023, a challenging campaign highlighted by an eighth-place finish on debut at Sebring before their 2024 entry was declined.
Since then, Vanwall has carried out major development work on the Vandervell 680, introducing numerous upgrades to the LMH platform. If all goes to plan, the team will re-enter Hypercar this time in ALMS, and potentially pave the way for a full WEC return.
