Dixon’s Sportscar Journey with Ganassi Comes to a Close… 🥹

On July 2, 2026, six-time IndyCar champion Scott Dixon announced that he will depart Chip Ganassi Racing, bringing an end to one of the most iconic partnerships in modern motorsport after 24 years. While the news marks the close of his legendary IndyCar tenure with the team, it also concludes an incredible chapter in endurance racing.

Set to join Arrow McLaren for the 2027 NTT IndyCar Series season, Dixon leaves behind a remarkable sportscar legacy with Chip Ganassi Racing that spanned IMSA, Grand-Am, the FIA World Endurance Championship, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and more.

The New Zealander claimed overall victory in the Rolex 24 At Daytona twice, first in 2006 and again in 2015, both behind the wheel of a Riley Grand-Am Prototype. He also played a key role in the Ford GT program, competing in both IMSA and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans during the car’s successful factory campaign.

In 2021, Dixon returned to top-class prototype competition with Chip Ganassi Racing, racing Cadillac’s DPi-V.R in IMSA through 2022 before becoming part of the team’s Hypercar/GTP program with the Cadillac V-Series.R alongside Sébastien Bourdais and Renger van der Zande.

He also represented Cadillac at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in both 2023 and 2024, battling for overall honors and recording a career-best finish of fourth overall during the event’s historic Centenary edition in 2023.

So while his stint with CGR in IndyCar was special, it’s important to remember that Scott Dixon’s endurance racing career with Chip Ganassi Racing leaves behind a legacy filled with victories, championships, and unforgettable moments. End of an era. 🧡🏁

P2 for Ferrari in São Paulo! 💯💪

While BMW M Team WRT deservedly stole the headlines with its 2nd WEC victory at the Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo, Ferrari AF Corse quietly delivered one of the standout drives of the race.

After a disappointing outing at Le Mans, Ferrari arrived in Brazil searching for a turnaround. However, that challenge was made even tougher given the marque’s struggles at Interlagos over the previous two seasons.

Starting just 11th on the grid, the No. 51 Ferrari AF Corse 499P, driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi, Antonio Giovinazzi, and James Calado, produced a superb recovery drive to finish second overall, fighting through the field against the likes of BMW and Cadillac who had faster cars.

Forza Ferrari! 🇮🇹

Can Ferrari carry this momentum into Lone Star Le Mans and return to the top step of the podium in September?
