I keep seeing this come up and I have just been asked about it again.

Here is the thing. If you say it is or say it isnt you will still use your camera in exactly the same way so forget about it. Dony waste time trying to define or redefine things that dont improve your photography.

Camera companies love this trick. They’ll release a new product with small amount of stock, it sells out straight away, and suddenly everyone’s talking about how popular it is.

The scarcity trick, if something’s hard to get, it feels more desirable.

Even if they could make more, they hold back on purpose to build the hype, get headlines, and make it look like the camera everyone needs to have.

They’ll actually announce that it’s out of stock, just to really hammer home the point and make it feel like demand is through the roof.

This happens with pretty much every big launch because it’s part of the plan.

Not a conspiracy theory, just simple marketing. Just something to be aware of. You will see it all the time now.
