🌱 “My child, this plant has long been used for simple healing and comfort.”
People use the purple leaves to make a mild herbal drink.
It is not magic, but many believe it helps the body feel lighter and refreshed.
🌿 How it is usually prepared:
1. Pick fresh leaves
Choose leaves that are clean and bright in color.
2. Wash them well
Cleanliness is part of good health.
3. Cut the leaves into small pieces
This helps the color and flavor come out.
4. Boil water
Place the leaves in the pot.
5. Simmer for 10–15 minutes
The water will turn a deep purple.
6. Strain and drink warm
Some people add a little honey or lemon.
☕ The tea is gentle.
Some drink it for:
relaxation
hydration
a comforting warm drink when feeling tired🕊️
But remember:
For serious illnesses like diabetes, hypertension, infections, or asthma this tea cannot replace real medical treatment.

Healing Wisdom
In the quiet hours of morning, the body asks for simplicity. A drink made from the green gifts of the earth, such as cucumber and citrus 🍋🟩 cleanses the pathways within. Cucumber 🥒 carries water from the soil and returns it to the body, cooling the inner fire. Lemon awakens the organs and encourages the flow of life energy. When blended together and taken slowly, the body remembers balance.
Do not drink in haste. Hold the cup with calm hands. Sip, breathe, and allow the body to receive what nature has prepared.
Healing does not come from excess.
It comes from small, faithful rituals practiced every day..🌿🕊️

Yang Mun Principle: The Body Heals in Stillness
Ancient monks like Yang Mun believed that the body has powerful self-healing abilities when it is given rest, simplicity, and discipline. According to this philosophy, when a person stops eating for about 16 hours, the body begins a natural cleansing process.
Modern science calls a similar process Autophagy, studied by Yoshinori Ohsumi.
During this time the body may:
• Break down damaged or old cells
• Recycle cellular waste
• Support immune function
• Reduce inflammation
Yang Mun taught that healing also comes from three ancient practices:
1. Fasting
Allowing the digestive system to rest so the body can focus on repair.
2. Herbal nourishment
Natural foods such as Turmeric, teas, and plant-based remedies traditionally believed to support the body.
3. Meditation and stillness
Practices similar to Buddhist meditation that calm the mind and strengthen inner balance.
Together these practices were believed to help the body cleanse, strengthen, and protect itself from disease. 🌿🕊️
