ICYMI - My Top 10 Games of 2025!

2025 was also the most active I've been on my channel in 10+ years...and it was a BLAST! I want to thank everyone who tuned in this year. My reason for making videos has first and foremost been interacting and connecting with like-minded folks who just love games, and we did a whole lot of that in 2025.

In 2026, I'm planning to do more of the same! Retrospectives, Trophy videos, Collection videos, and a few other series I've been thinking about. Maybe even a stream here and there? We'll see!

Today Yooka-Replaylee releases on all gaming platforms! In anticipation of this remaster, I recently released a video sharing why I love the original game, Yooka-Laylee. There's no denying that this collectathon 3D platformer has its problems, but when I played it back in 2018, it reminded me why I fell in love with 3D platformers to begin with.

In anticiption of the newest Hot Shots game coming out TOMORROW, 9/5 ( 'Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots' - PS5, Switch, PC), I made a video sharing my love of this series. I talk about the history of game releases, my personal memories, and share my favorite games. Fan of golf or not, I think this series is accessible (and fun!) enough for anyone.

No new video from me this week, but I was recently on a great podcast to talk about Tomb Raider x Uncharted x Indiana Jones. Who's the ultimate globe trotting archaeologist? We dive deep into Indy & the Great Circle, old-school YouTube nostalgia, and plenty more. Give it a listen!

Today marks 15 YEARS since I released my first YouTube video. I was only 17 years old, just looking for a way to talk about video games with other like-minded people. What a journey it's been!

This Saturday, 6/28, at 10:30am EST I have a video releasing that's nearly an hour long reminiscing about my entire 15 year journey on YouTube. I chat about why I started my channel, announce a Q&A, take a look at some of my older videos, and celebrate so many of the people I've met along the way. Stay tuned for a fun trip down memory lane!

No new video this week, but I wanted to thank everyone for all of the recent support on the channel. I recently reached 3,000 subscribers, which is the most my channel has ever had. For any new subscribers, and especially for those that have been here for a while, THANK YOU! Interacting with all of you is one of the main reasons why I keep making videos.

Speaking of, I have a lot of really exciting videos in the works, including multiple new video series I've been wanting to do for quite some time. I'll keep some of them a surprise, but next weekend will be the debut of a planned long-running series of 3D Platformer Hidden Gems videos!

Also, it'll be 15 YEARS since my first video released this June. I have a very exciting anniversary video planned that I cannot wait to share. It'll be a celebration of the channel, this community, people I've met, and so much more.
