RAF Fairford has been extremely active these past few days! 🇬🇧 With the UK allowing operations from the base, heavy hitters from the U.S. Air Force are rolling in amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

📦 What’s arriving:

B‑1B Lancer bombers – fast and lethal

B‑52 Stratofortress bombers – the iconic long-range giants

C‑17 Globemaster III transports – carrying critical supplies and munitions

Plus, several 747s reportedly on the way, adding to the huge logistical build-up

⚠️ The Middle East conflict has put RAF Fairford on high alert, turning this peaceful Gloucestershire base into a strategic hub for major U.S. operations. The scale and speed of these deployments are nothing short of intense — aviation fans and spotters, this is a rare sight!

🚨 WHAT IS GOING ON, THORPE PARK?! 🚨

Okay… so this morning, I checked the official Thorpe Park website, and it was showing that the park would be open until 9 PM on Saturday 28th March and Sunday 29th March. 😳

And I was like… wait, WHAT?! Thorpe Park doesn’t normally open that late until October, so seeing 9 PM hours in March was honestly wild. I even started imagining a whole extra evening of rides, food, and chaos… 😎🎢

But then… this evening, it got changed back to 6 PM. So… okay. Weird. A bit disappointing, ngl. Like, why tease us like that, Thorpe? Just a glitch? A secret “test” of late March nights? I’ll never know… 😅

Anyway, just thought I’d share this odd little Thorpe Park moment. Have you ever seen something like this happen with a theme park before? Because… yeah… what even.

🎢 ALTON TOWERS — FROM TRAGEDY TO HOPE (2015 → 2026) 🌟

It all began in 2015, a day every fan remembers. The Smiler crash wasn’t just a headline — it was a heartbreak. Riders were seriously injured, and trust in the park was shaken. Overnight, Alton Towers, a place of joy and thrills, felt fragile.

From 2016–2019, the park slowly rebuilt. Rides like Wicker Man brought excitement back, but the shadow of 2015 lingered. 2020–2023 brought more challenges — staffing pressures, maintenance delays, and global events meant rides sometimes ran inconsistently, frustrating fans but not breaking the park’s spirit.

Then came 2024, a year many fans remember as the toughest. Short opening hours, frequent ride closures, and unreliable operations left some of our favourite attractions unavailable, including Wicker Man at times. It was a low point, a reminder of the long road ahead.

But 2025 changed everything. Fans noticed real improvements:
🎡 Skyride returned fully, giving visitors the chance to float above the park again.
👁️ Hex — The Legend of the Towers returned fully, restoring its classic eerie magic.
🎢 Toxicator opened in Forbidden Valley, bringing new thrills and excitement.
Scarefest 2025 was incredible, with immersive scare zones, haunting mazes, and fan-favourite rides running perfectly at night. Fans online said it felt like Alton Towers was alive again, with ride availability and operations better than they’d seen in years.

Now in 2026, the park is buzzing with energy again. With Merlin investing in operations, new attractions, and planning the mysterious Project Horizon for 2027, the future looks brighter than ever. The park that survived tragedy, tough years, and long recoveries is back on top — ready to thrill old fans and new generations alike.

💫 Alton Towers today isn’t just surviving — it’s thriving. Here’s to the next chapter of rides, scares, and memories!

Just a quick update to let you know what’s been going on with the channel.

As mentioned previously, things are starting to change around here… and it’s all really exciting.
We’ll be slowly moving away from the gaming side of the channel and heading into something brand new.

2026 is all about new adventures.

That means loads more theme park content 🎢
Ride videos, park updates, first impressions, trips, and full-on vlogs from days out.
More real-life experiences, more fun, and way more memories being made.

And that’s not all 👀
A brand-new channel logo is coming very soon, giving the channel a fresh new look to match this new direction.

There might also be something else exciting in the works… but I’ll let that be a surprise for now 😉
