I am just speechless of the blessing that is today 😭 A golden birthday only happens once a lifetime & I believed I would spend my golden birthday doing it big in Bali, Indonesia. But I guess my “Bali”ef was stronger than my bank account 😉😂 God has blessed me beyond my imagination & I’m so grateful for this life I was given! 25 yrs of corny jokes, laughter, loving, learning & unlearning, and still learning 😂

It’s so hard to summarize a year’s worth of experiences 😭

I thought 2022 was my toughest year but I think this was the year my frontal lobe truly developed😂 I took so many leaps of faith & I even surprised myself in learning how far my wildest dreams can take me. This is the year I realized how much I was focused on my “destination” and not appreciating the beauty in my “direction”. It was always my dream to own a salon. I followed my own path and I DID everything I said I would do. I wanted to obtain my Cosmetology License in high school, I went to college and acquired a degree in business management, I got hands on experience as a manager, and I thought once I did all that I could own my salon and ride off into the sunset. 😂

2023 was truly my year of awakening. I’m so thankful that God taught me how my desired destinations are important to my story, but they are only small pieces of my puzzle of life. 🩷 My direction the gift where I learned true kindness, forgiveness and patience (ps: don’t pray for patience, it’s a setup😂) and now I have so much love & appreciation for my direction which is still happening right now, even as you read this. I know it sounds crazy, we’re conditioned to believe we’re supposed to have it all figured out. It’s okay to have a plan, but don’t attach your success to it. Make plans, but make peace with the fact that plans change, and it’s okay 🥹 Honey, learning how to breathe and trust him was the best gift God gave me this year🙌🏾

Things may not have turned out how I thought they would, but they turned out better than I could even imagine. I was always overthinking, stressing, and worrying. Until one day I heard someone ask, “Are your problems bigger than God, or is God bigger than your problems? “ ….. WHEW 😂 Listen, I serve a God that cures cancer and raises the dead. You think I’m worried about a bill ?!? 😂

This was such a great year and we’re just getting started! So please allow me reintroduce myself. My name is Deja Alexandria Patton. I am a 24 year old Talk Show Host, former manager, licensed cosmetologist, dancer, roller skater, actress, comedian, author honey all of the above & whatever else I choose to be. 😂🩷

God gave me so many visions & I’m excited for what’s to come in 2024. This is truly about to be “Deja’s Disco” 😂🪩🥳✨🩷

My goal has always been to inspire people to step out of their comfort zone to try something new and that’s exactly what we did! It really brings joy to my heart to see the dream come true 🥹
