BREAK A SWEAT is about the warrior's journey in fighting oppression.
The warrior, not as an external character, but one that is within us all.
The past 2 years have been some of the most challenging I've experienced. I vowed to not look away from 6aza (at the VERY least), and as a result have witnessed the worst possible crimes against humanity on a near daily basis.
A deep sadness & anger has made a home in me, which at points twisted and led into total despair.
The only way I found to move that heavy and stagnant energy was through sweat. Through building the physical form. Channelling that potent energy into the future fire. Collectively shutting shit down. Into finding & training the warrior.
Respect & solidarity to the #FILTON24; they are the embodiment of resistance in this nation, alongside the mass disobedience of Defend Our Juries yesterday.
Deepest respect to all those in Palestine and beyond who are fighting oppressors for their dignity and freedom.
