‘Daddy’s Home!’ Yash Roars In & as Raya in a Bold Toxic Birthday Reveal

Yash Is Raya. Period. ‘Daddy’s Home’ Echoes Through a Savage Toxic Reveal

“Daddy’s Home!” — Toxic Unleashes Yash’s Character Raya in a Bold First Tease on His Birthday

Marking Rocking Star Yash’s birthday with a seismic reveal, the makers of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups have unveiled the film’s character intro tease — officially introducing Raya played by Yash, through a powerful, bold, and high-impact announcement that commands attention from the very first frame.

Released amid intense anticipation from fans and the film fraternity, this character intro isn’t designed as a celebration — it arrives as a statement.

Notably, Yash chose to introduce Toxic to the world by first unveiling its women — Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria — a move that underscored the film’s layered narrative and ensemble-driven vision. By placing the spotlight on the women before revealing himself, Yash signalled that Toxic is not built around spectacle alone, but around powerful characters who shape its world.

With that foundation set, the film now turns its focus to its central force — Raya, played by Yash.

Set against the haunting stillness of a cemetery erupting into chaos, the tease opens in a blaze of action. Gunfire cuts through the silence, bodies scatter, and through the smoke emerges Raya — composed, unflinching, and in complete control. Armed with a tommy gun, he doesn’t rush the moment — he owns it.

Every movement radiates authority. Every glance holds purpose. Raya is not a character seeking validation — he is power moving with intent, confidence, and presence.

From its very first frame, Toxic establishes a dark, unapologetic tone. It doesn’t chase familiarity or comfort. Instead, it embraces boldness, scale, and an uncompromising visual language — cinema designed to leave an impact and linger long after the screen fades.

The character intro makes one thing unmistakably clear: Toxic is not a conventional film — and neither is Raya, the man driving it.

Over the years, Yash has built a reputation as a fearless risk-taker — an actor who consistently chooses ambition over safety and vision over formula. Time and again, projects once viewed as bold risks have gone on to redefine benchmarks, proving that his instinct for scale and storytelling delivers not just impact, but success.

Toxic continues that tradition.

As actor, co-writer, and co-producer, Yash once again steps into uncharted territory, embracing complexity, darker shades, and an international storytelling sensibility. Through Raya, he leans fully into experimentation — trusting creative courage and conviction, much like the defining successes of his past.

Building on the birthday glimpse unveiled last year, the newly released video expands the world of Toxic, offering a deeper, more immersive look into its action-driven narrative and striking visual universe.

Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has been simultaneously shot in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and several other languages — underscoring the film’s global ambition.

The film features a formidable technical lineup, including National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, music by Ravi Basrur, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni, and production design by TP Abid. The action sequences are mounted on a grand scale, choreographed by Hollywood action director JJ Perry (John Wick), alongside National Award-winning action directors Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee.

Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on 19 March 2026, coinciding with Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa.

One thing remains constant:
When Yash takes a risk, cinema responds.
And with Toxic the stakes are higher than ever.

First Look of Kiara Advani as ‘Nadia’ Unveiled from Yash’s ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’

One of the most anticipated films of 2026, Rocking Star Yash’s ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’, continues to build massive momentum as the makers officially unveil the first look of Kiara Advani as their Nadia.

Advani, who has steadily built a reputation for her versatility and screen presence, appears in a whole new light in this latest reveal. Having navigated a variety of genres—ranging from poignant dramas to high-octane commercial cinema—she has firmly established herself as one the most prominent figures in the Hindi film industry. This new character marks an intriguing evolution in her filmography as she steps into the raw and vivid world envisioned by director Geetu Mohandas.

The first look at Nadia captures Kiara Advani in a moment of striking complexity. While the poster initially places her in a glamorous spotlight against a vibrant circus backdrop, a closer inspection reveals a character defined by profound emotional layers. Beneath the spectacle lies a sense of grief and melancholy, signaling a shift toward a performance-driven narrative. This complex depiction hints that Nadia is far more than a conventional role, suggesting a transformative turn that could be a career-defining milestone for the actress.

Reflecting on Kiara’s portrayal, director Geetu Mohandas said "Some performances don’t just belong to a film, they redefine an artist. What Kiara created on screen in this film is nothing short of transformative. As a director, I am deeply proud of her and for the performance she has delivered, and for the faith and heart she brought into our shared journey.”

Four years after redefining box-office history with KGF: Chapter 2, Rocking Star Yash makes his much-awaited return to the big screen with Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, one of the most anticipated films of 2026, generating massive buzz across industries—made even more special as the announcement coincides with the 7th anniversary of KGF, the film that marked the beginning of a cinematic phenomenon.

Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has been filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and several other languages, underscoring its global ambition. The film brings together a formidable technical team with National Award winner Rajeev Ravi as cinematographer, Ravi Basrur on music, Ujwal Kulkarni handling editing, and TP Abid leading production design, while Hollywood action director JJ Perry (John Wick) and National Award-winning duo Anbariv have choreographed the film’s high-octane action sequences. Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic is slated for a grand theatrical release on the long festive weekend of 19th March 2026, coinciding with Eid, Ugadi and Gudi Padwa.
