Trading is the weirdest hobby in the world! It's like, one minute you're super excited, and the next minute you're freaking out because you lost some money.
It happens to everyone! Even the big traders have to deal with their “feelings” when they're trading.
Here’s a simple blueprint to better manage your psychology when trading.
1. To destroy greed, follow your rules (discipline is the key to overcoming the siren song of greed)
2. To destroy anxiety, reduce your risk (learn to properly size your positions, and in time, you’ll better manage your risk)
3. To destroy fear of losing, think in probabilities (it’s hard, but you need to understand that losses are an inevitable part of trading and each trade is simply a probability play)
4. To destroy anger, focus on the next opportunity (if you think about past losses or mistakes, it will only cloud your judgment and stop your progress. Keep your eyes forward and seek out the next opportunity).
