𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘁

Today something scary happened 😕 So this is the story! There is a girl who lives next door. She is a very good friend of mine but sometimes she's a bit annoying 🙌 But we always play together and everything. Yesterday evening, we casually walked down to the far corner of the paddy-field stream close to our houses and stepped into it. The water was shallow only there, so that's why we went there. The stream was beautiful, so we stayed there for a long time. There were beautiful flowers and things, and there was clay in places along the stream. We spent hours looking for those things. Then before we knew it, it was around 5.30 PM, and the moon was out. We came home. It was 6.00 PM when I got back home.

We went there again this morning. While we were there, we heard various noises, but we didn't pay any attention to them. There is a jungle path slightly above the stream. My friend told me, "Let's go and have a look down that path." I refused.

After we stayed there for a while, we heard our mothers calling us, and it must have been around 12:00 PM when we were getting ready to go home. As we were walking home, our mother had also come out to the road looking for us. My friend went to her house. After I got to my house, Mom scolded me badly for going there. I told her we only went to see the stream.

Then she told me that it is a place where people drown (a place believed to claim lives/be cursed) She said many people have gone there and been scared, and some have even died. I then asked her what's the road above stream was. Mom said it was a graveyard 👻

I got very scared. I remembered my friend telling me to go and look down that path. Mom said we were saved because I refused to go. She said it is a place where ghosts live. Apparently, many people have been scared there before, and some have even died. Since my friend's family doesn't know about these things, she didn't get scolded. My mother knew about these things, so she scolded me badly. She also said it's not good at all for children my age to go there. I also had my period 💀
​I am still thinking about it. I am scared about what might happen 😭
