Before I began practicing martial arts (2004) & learning advanced ways to hurt people - I too saw violence as a solution to minor problems. I was ignorant & immature.

Then I learned the art & discipline that comes with martial arts training - and it changed me. The more I learned how to hurt people, the less I saw it as acceptable or even an option.

This verse is from 2006/2007 & has been my position on the matter for a long time now.

“Peace in the streets is the ONLY way to better your block.
And you can set an example & put an end to the shots.”

Feeling grateful to have had so many amazing teachers beat the wrong & stupid ideas out of me I once held, and even more grateful for my wife, son & daughter who I live to protect with my every breath.
