We’re kicking off Halloween Knight: The Masquerade of Madness with a fast, fun classic Batman scene before the real Halloween nightmare begins…
🖤 Black Mask is moving product.
🪵 Scarface wants new toys.
🎙️ And The Ventriloquist is absolutely letting the puppet do the talking.
This is a small but punchy moment early in the film — Black Mask selling weapons to Scarface — and then Batman and Robin crash the party.
Pure Gotham chaos. A slick, crowd-pleasing opener that sets the tone and does something important:
✅ It establishes Batman & Robin’s character dynamic in a big way…
…and that dynamic is going to matter A LOT by the time we hit the end of the film. 👀
🎨 Design inspiration notes:
The Ventriloquist & Scarface take heavy inspiration from BTAS (Batman: The Animated Series) — that perfect blend of creepy, classy, and iconic.
Black Mask pulls influence from Batman: Under the Red Hood — sharper, meaner, and built for that cold, criminal power-broker vibe.
And for now… here’s some killer concept art of these villains to set the stage. 😈

In Halloween Knight: The Masquerade of Madness, Jason Todd’s Robin isn’t here to play nice — he’s a straight-up hot head with big attitude, bigger bravery, and zero patience for monsters, maniacs, or anyone who thinks Gotham’s just another Halloween attraction.
🟥 Design notes: This look pulls inspiration from multiple eras and versions of Robin — a mash-up of classic icon energy and tougher, scrappier edge. Equal parts “sidekick legend” and “walking warning label.”
He’s fast, fearless, and one bad comment away from throwing hands.
And in this story? That might be exactly what Gotham needs. 😈🦇

Batman / Bruce Wayne Concept Art Update 🦇
Made a few changes to tighten up the design—cleaner silhouette, sharper details, and a better overall read.
Big focus on functionality this pass: we’re leaning into a sleeker, stealth-suit approach with a black + dark grey palette for a more grounded, low-profile look. We also updated the cape options—for select scenes we’re aiming for that Animated Series-style full circle cape to really sell the shape, movement, and classic Batman presence when he’s in motion.
On the cowl side, we’re pushing a movable neck design for better comfort and flexibility, so the suit feels practical in action while still keeping that sharp Batman profile.

LUCIUS FOX JR. to the cast!
In this universe, Lucius Jr. steps into a role that fans will instantly recognize from other iterations of the Batman mythos: the brilliant ally behind the scenes. He’s the one helping keep Batman in the fight — developing and supplying the tech, refining the gear, and making sure the mission has what it needs when the night gets dangerous.
And we’re proud to announce that Mr. Fox will be played by Freddy Boyd.
We’re really looking forward to working with him and bringing this character to life in a way that fits the darker, relentless tone of HALLOWEEN KNIGHT on Earth-3978.
