The HALLOWEEN KNIGHT Animatic Storyboard video is officially out now!

This was the very first storyboard work I had ever done, inspired heavily by Batman: The Animated Series and Bruce Timm’s iconic art style. It’s really awesome getting to share the earliest version of this project before we ever turned the cameras on.

🎬🌉 Here’s another never-before-seen behind-the-scenes shot from HALLOWEEN KNIGHT — this time from the Hoosic Falls bridge, where we filmed the finale of the film!

In the photo, you’ve got Brian Van Sise as Michael Myers alongside our Commissioner Gordon, played by R.W. Martin, just having some fun between takes. And honestly, that’s what made this shoot so special. One minute we were capturing some of the most intense, dramatic moments of the movie… and the next, everyone was laughing, joking around, and enjoying the madness of bringing this world to life.

The bridge finale was such a huge sequence for us — not just visually, but emotionally. It had that perfect mix of tension, atmosphere, and comic-book-meets-horror energy that HALLOWEEN KNIGHT is all about. Seeing these characters together in that setting, especially with the location adding so much mood and scale, really made it feel like we were creating something special.

This shot is a perfect reminder that behind all the darkness, masks, and chaos, there was a cast and crew having an absolute blast making this thing. 🦇🔪

🎬🔥 Check out this never-before-seen behind-the-scenes photo of Joe Martino’s Nightwing vs. Brian Van Sise’s Michael Myers from the set of HALLOWEEN KNIGHT!

This moment right here… without a doubt one of my absolute favorite scenes to write and direct. From the very beginning, I wanted this confrontation to feel raw, intense, and unpredictable — like two completely different worlds colliding in the most brutal way possible. Nightwing’s precision and agility going up against Myers’ unstoppable, silent terror created such a unique energy on set.

What makes this even more special is how much passion everyone brought to it. Joe and Brian both fully committed to their roles and watching them bring that tension to life between takes was just as exciting as what ended up on camera. There were so many little details, camera choices, and performance beats we experimented with to make this scene hit exactly the way I envisioned it.

Honestly, this is the kind of scene you dream about as a filmmaker — where everything just clicks!

As a huge Batman: The Animated Series fan,
I’m seriously hyped that CLAYFACE (2026)
It feels like it’s pulling right from “Feat of Clay.”

This isn’t just another comic movie...it actually sounds like the Matt Hagen story done right. A rising actor, horribly disfigured, making a desperate deal to fix his face and losing himself in the process...

That’s exactly what made BTAS Clayface so powerful. And knowing Mike Flanagan straight-up said “Feat of Clay” inspired it makes this feel even more real. The horror angle, the melting transformations, all of it sounds like they’re going full tragic body horror instead of holding back.

If they pull this off, this could be the BTAS Clayface story on a bigger, darker, live-action level, and honestly… that’s something I’ve wanted for years.

Unfortunately, it's connected to James Gunn's Universe.... I'll try not to let that ruin it for me.

We had such an awesome time at our HALLOWEEN KNIGHT movie theater showing at The Spectrum 8 in Albany, NY!

It was a lot of fun, and we had a really solid turnout. We didn’t get as many pictures as we hoped for, but here are some of the ones we did capture!

A huge thank you again to Joe Masher for allowing us to use the theater and helping make this event possible—we truly appreciate it. Hopefully we can do another showing there in the future!

I truly can’t describe how amazing this feels.

Seeing HALLOWEEN KNIGHT on the marquee at Scene One Cinemas Spectrum 8 in Albany, NY is a moment I’ll never forget.

As a filmmaker, having your movie play in a real theater is already incredible — but seeing the title up on an actual marquee makes it all feel so real in the best way.

I’m so thankful, excited, and honestly a little overwhelmed. A huge thank you to Joe Masher for his hospitality and for giving us the opportunity to use his theater.

That kind of support means everything.
This is one of those special moments that reminds me why I love making movies.

So grateful for everyone who’s been part of the HALLOWEEN KNIGHT journey. 🖤🎬
