On this channel I will share different recipes I have tried, some for my kids and some for fun, as well as my own recipes! There may even be the occasional cameo from my kids as they help try my recipes or cook along with me.

Happy Summer!! ☀️🫐
And it sure has been a happy summer for me and my family. We’ve been having such a great time! I took a couple weeks off from posting while I was on vacation and spent lots of time with my amazing family. Had fun at the lake, went to the county fair, did some berry picking, and did a whole lot of cooking!
I hope you and yours are having a wonderful summer. Cherish your loved ones and don’t take the time for granted.
I got lots of fun recipes to share and videos in the works now, so stay tuned! I’m excited to share more on this channel with you.

I won’t be posting a video today, instead I wanted to talk about Good Friday.
Why is it this day is called Good? After all, Good Friday is the observation of the day that Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross. Should this not be called “Sad Friday” or “Tragic Friday” instead?
Using “good” does not necessarily imply happiness or joy. Actually in other languages there are different names: Romance languages typically refer to it as “Holy Friday”, and in German it is known as “Karfreitag” (Sorrowful Friday).
The reasoning of this day being called “good” is because it represents the culmination of God’s plan for salvation through Jesus’ sacrifice. Good Friday commemorates the solemnity and gravity of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ, while also observing the goodness and holiness of God’s plan.
The world was in desperate need of a savior, and that savior is Jesus Christ. Now all who receive Jesus by faith, that is, believe in His death and resurrection, will have eternal life in heaven! Praise be to God for His goodness and gift of grace!
As Paul wrote to the Romans:
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.”
Romans 3:23-26 ESV

I need your help!
I’m playing with the idea of a new logo for the channel. My kids are getting older and are becoming a bigger part of my cooking, and more importantly my life! I wanted to try and incorporate them into a new channel image.
Below are a few of the options I’m considering, let me know which one you like the most!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 🎄🎅
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted, these past couple months have been very busy for me and my family. But now I wanted to put out an update regarding this special video I published yesterday!
This video was a lot of fun and a bit of a “behind the scenes” of what happens while recording one of my typical videos. I hope you enjoy! I sure enjoyed making it, it’s such a blessing to cook with my kids!

It’s been a while, but I’m back!
Took a few weeks off from posting and enjoyed a fun trip to Disney World with my family!
It was very eventful:
My baby boy turned 1!
My brother-in-law got engaged!
My parents celebrated their 32nd anniversary!
My youngest brother turned 24!
Lots of family, lots of celebration, and lots of heat! Florida is real hot this time of year.
Happy to be home and I’ll be back to posting soon.
