Professionally 2023 was a strange year for me.

After 9 years of being a full-time YouTuber, I decided to step away from my main platform. I still tried to keep the videos coming with a more flexible schedule, but I found out that doing YouTube in a relaxed way doesn't really make sense to me.

Honestly, I don't have a vision for my long-form videos at the moment. So, I will take a proper break from them, and who knows... maybe I will come back, maybe not.

On the other hand, in 2023 I immersed myself in the world of commission paintings. The opportunities kept coming, and I kept saying yes! Thanks to my clients, I got to know a lot of new people and I got to travel quite a bit. Painting based on the needs of others prepared a whole new set of challenges for me.

I really like this change, but essentially all I painted this year were commissions. I didn't have enough time to work on my own art, which is really important to me.

Overall, I feel like I gained a lot of knowledge and experience in 2023. The question right now is what do I do with it in 2024 and beyond.

With that said, I wanted to say a big Thank You to all of you who stick around and follow my art story. I wish you all the best for the new year!
