I just finished rewatching Once Again for the sixth time. Yes, sixth time hahaha and I still can't move on. This drama has seriously become my ultimate comfort show. Ever since it aired in 2020, I’ve been rewatching it at least once every year. It’s like my warm blanket during winter, my happy pill, my escape. I don’t even know how to explain it properly, I just know it always makes me feel so happy.
Every time I reach the final episode, I feel a bit sad. It’s like I suddenly snap back into the real world after being completely lost in that story. It always feels so real to me. That’s actually the reason why I decided to make color coded lyric videos for all the OSTs. The songs are all so good and deserve more love.
This drama was the first 100 episode drama I ever watched and finished. I still haven’t found another drama that can beat this one. The storyline isn’t too heavy, it’s realistic, and the chemistry between the actors is just so good. I loved Jaeseok and Dahee but honestly Gyujin and Nahee were the best couple for me.
It’s already been five years since the drama aired but I’m still hoping and manifesting that Lee Sangyeob and Lee Minjung will be paired up again in a new drama as a lead couple. Even if it’s 100 episodes again I’ll gladly watch it all over.
