Switcher/Shunter Generations. Thought that I would try to make a scene of a meeting between the Old (A5 0-4-0) and the New (I don’t know what the Lionel Junction Diesel is based off of) of PRR Switchers/Shunters. Also tried to make the B&W pictures look like old-fashioned photographs. #switchersaturday#shuntersaturday
#modificationmonday Added some Pine Derby Car Stick-on weights into my Lionel Junction LionChief Switcher, PRR #9431. I believe that this worked, as the model didn’t race off instantly when I turned its remote throttle. So I recorded a few clips of it pulling a small freight train. The first video clip is the engine at its slowest non-stalling speed, while the second clip is at about 1/3 full throttle turn. The only problem is that it stalls on my Inner-loop, as it goes over the two (2) switches. I may need to get some pickup rollers, and turn a freight car into a power pickup car, and connect it with the model. But that is a project for another day.
Well, the only thing that I am interested in from the Lionel 2026 V2 Catalog is the CNW Atlantic (YouTube wouldn’t fit the cropped version of the screenshot). And I started a GoFundMe to try to raise funds to acquire one. Thought I would try, at least. Thanks, and have a wonderful day.
Photos of my first O gauge model. My conventional A-5 0-4-0 Alaskan Railroad #5. Cannot run her on my layout without either a Lionel TMCC Powermaster, or upgrading her to some form of remote control (TMCC, LionChief, or Blunami).
No video for a few days. Noticed a few dead spots happening on the outer loop of my layout while trying to make a video for Friday, August 1st. Need to work on that.
