Welcome! I am SouthernRailfan4501productions. I mostly photograph trains in the Southeast United States. From big superpower locomotives like 611 to forgotten excursion stars like Southern 4501 and 630. For the most part I photograph at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, Dollywood, Tweetsie Railroad and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. I also sometimes do videos of other assorted things. I try to make my content enjoyable by people of all ages. With all said, hope you enjoy!
Ps. I’m doing this channel because I like photographing and taking videos of trains and railways. If anyone wants to insult me or anything of that sort, be prepared to have any content containing such insults reported and taken down. I don’t mind if you don’t like what I do, but I do mind if someone insults me for doing what I do.

Hey there everyone. Today, 24 years ago, the tragic September 11th terrorist attacks happened. It was a terrible day, but there were many heroes that day. Today we honor the victims of the attacks, the heroic firefighters, paramedics, and police officers who risked their lives to save as many as they could, and the brave passengers on board flight 93 who fought to get back control of their plane. Many thousands of innocent people died. This is the day we remember those people who are sadly no longer with us.

Hey there everyone! Last weekend was Founders Day Weekend, and I was able to be there for the day runs and night photo session. This year, they had Southern 630 wearing her original paint scheme, her old red number board, and a Southern Railway hooter from an Ms-4 mikado. They also had Southern Railway 4501 painted up as fictional Central of Georgia MK class 2-8-2 number 699, although she was not able to run due to mechanical problems. Also they repainted US Air Force 7467/NC&STL 36 into her original US Air Force dress blue paint scheme.

Hey there everyone! I just left Dollywood. It was raining pretty bad, but I was able to get a good amount of footage before it started raining. 70 was running today, and she was sporting a very nice-sounding 6-inch Crosby new-style 3 chime whistle. Also, I just noticed that the subscriber count is now 606, the same number as the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum’s SW-1200 switcher, ex-Milwaukee Road ex-US Navy 606. So, here’s some photos of 70, her Crosby 3-chime, and TVRM 606.

Hey there everyone! I know it’s been a little while since I’ve posted any subscriber count updates. As of today, this channel is sitting at 604 subscribers. To commemorate this, I have posted some pictures of Southern Railway Ks-1 604 and BC&G #4 masquerading as Southern Railway 604. 604 was built in 1903 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the Southern Railway. On the Southern Railway, she was classified as a Ks-1. She had 22 inch by 30 inch cylinders, 57 inch driving wheels, and a 190 PSI boiler. 604 was sadly scrapped sometime in the 1950s. In the 1970s up until 1995, Buffalo Creek & Gauley railroad 2-8-0 number 4 masqueraded as Southern 604 during its time at the North Carolina Transportation Museum. BC&G 4 is now owned by the Cass Scenic Railroad in West Virginia.

Hello there everyone! I’m coming to you all today to announce my newest project. It is a fully 1/87 scale model of ex-US Army S160a number 610. The shells and tender chassis are all 3d printed and custom-designed by me to be as close to accurately scaled as possible. The locomotive uses a modified Bachmann HO gauge 2-6-2 chassis with a fourth axle hole cut into the frame. This locomotive will be fitted with tender-mounted dcc and sound, with sounds taken from the real locomotive.

Hey there everyone! I just wrapped up my first TVRM visit of 2025. They had 630 running today, and 4501 was out of service due to an issue with its tender. I will post the videos later today. That’s all from me. This is SouthernRailfan4501Productions, over and out!
