There you have it!

Every year, I remind myself that the way we educate our kids isn't about proving we're "doing it right." It's about asking - what does our family need most right now?
Sometimes the answer has been early mornings and backpacks. Other years it's been slow breakfasts and learning together at the kitchen table.

We've done both. And honestly? Both have been good in different ways. This year, it's less about choosing "school" or "homeschool" and more about choosing:

• Time freedom to chase passions or “pursue crafts" (music, athletics, starting a business) as Cale says
• Flexibility for family rhythms
• A pace that lets us breathe

If there's one thing 14 years of motherhood has taught me, it's that no season stays the same forever... and that's a good thing.
So here's to making the decision that serves this chapter best
- without guilt about the last one or fear about the next.

What season are you in right now?
Oh yeah and Cale is doing 3 high school credit courses while in 8th grade this year!
