Although, it's a bit of a struggle. I'm getting new subscribers, and I'm losing subscribers at the same time. Perhaps it could be the changes to the kind of content I compose nowadays? Or my upload schedule's been completely f*cked this year? I don't know, but obviously I HAVE motivation to edit again. I am literally working on an ElectricMini celebrating this, and I'm almost done with it, surprisingly. Stay tuned for that!

Hello. I get it -- this channel has been completely dead this year.

At the time I posted this (or you've read this), I have noticeably uploaded only 2 videos this year, about 8 times worse than last's. And obviously I have no motivation to even think of another video idea or work on another video. Or maybe even finish Project:DOWNGRADER4R once and for all (even though 24H2 dropped and 25H2 is currently in the works, I am not changing the starting point that is 23H2 unfortunately).

But there might have been other reasons behind this -- Am I focusing too much on my personal life right now? Absolutely. Was it I lost a very good friend of mine who got caught doing something insanely fucked up, though it was "done out of desperation," the day I finally returned? Maybe, but definitely. Or just slacking off in general? Interests finally starting to change? I guess so.

OR, maybe one of the biggest reasons is that: these videos take time and effort to produce now. From doing voicelines, to designing and making up a bunch of assets, and then editing them all together, a video as simple as ONE minute could take me days, even a week to make. It's not like I am able to spit out 20 videos a month now like I used to back then.

But don't worry; there's more to come! What I had in mind was an untitled 'Microsoft Sam Fails' sketch, and maybe even another episode of MSSTUPID. And if I finish it on time for Windows 10's EoS (October 14th), an ElectricMini centered on that. No news on when the next 'Elecarlton's WHAT IF...?' will drop, because I can't really think anything. Unfortunately, this means that there will NOT be a special 12th anniversary video OR logo this year, but I'll celebrate it in a post, don't panic. Not trying to push myself any further, if you remember my advice.

Alright. So the real reason I had to use the old studio exterior from mid-2022 in the latest ElectricMini, is that I haven't thought of the new studio exterior design after I've left the LBC (since it drifted RIGHT off the tracks that time), and I didn't want to work on it while I produce the video on such a short deadline, because then it would look stupid and you wouldn't get that cool VFX shot where I give the old studio a good sendoff.

I'm currently working on the new studio exterior I will use in some of my future TTS sketches, on Microsoft PowerPoint like always. So, uhh... Below this is a WIP draft of it.

The sign and main structure is done, but I have yet to figure out the appropiate window placement since I slightly have a limited space (bc of the size of the sign), and the studio parking lot. I am giving it a bit of some depth, which explains why there's a 3D grid in the background, and then I might polish it a little to make it stand out a bit.

Project:DOWNGRADER4R is still on hold until I have enough motivation to record a new set of voicelines and probably make a couple more errors. Stay tuned!

So... my channel's 11th anniversary is coming up soon.
I'm trying my best to make it as special as I can, but because I've been feeling like shit lately and I almost forgot all about it... Well, lemme tell you this: There is NOT going to be a special logo to celebrate this, because that'll probably take me weeks to finish, and I'm trying not to do things over a deadline now. I'll probably just do an ElectricMini on this, but I don't wanna feel too rushed since I JUST started producing it.

However, about Project:DOWNGRADER4R... I've done fuck all progress.

I've now done about 68 minutes of editing, which is only about 7 minutes added since the last progress update. I fear I might lose motivation to the project completely, but I don't wanna scrap it since that's all my hard work I wasted on it and hype just tossed right in the bin. And since more (pre-11) Windows builds are recently being leaked (i might see if i can fit a couple early builds in, even the july 1992 build of 95), that just feels like more and more work is just being shoved into it.

That might be why I've been taking a hiatus from the project, to deal with some other things, especially those related to my life. Not for long, though. I just don't want to realize that this whole thing was just a giant mistake and that I shouldn't even finish working on it.

But still, stay tuned for a special video coming up this August 15th!

Project "DOWNGRADER4R" Update #6: I have gone crazy.

I accidentally jammed a couple extra systems in the list. Now I just straight up added them in editing.

Don't worry, I was extremely careful with everything I put on there, because there were a LOT of clips in there, almost about an hour of them. The Track Motion keyframes lost timing while I was (temporarily) moving them, so I tried to retime it as carefully as I could.

What I managed to jam into (in the screenshot): Windows 11 builds 22000.184 to 21380 (not a lot), Server 2022 builds 20348.1 to 20201, and Windows 8.1 Update 3-1 Pre-Release & GA Update. Also Windows Server build 26212 is NOT officially linked to Server 2025, so I reverted it to 26085 and then changed it to 26100 right after lol

So I guess that means I've now got 427 systems listed... Again don't worry, I'm making the list final so I won't try to add a bunch more.

Project "DOWNGRADER4R" (mini) Update #5.2:

About 42 minutes of editing is done.
Server 2025 build 26085 changed to build 26212.

...That's it. Not a big update technically lol, but just felt like I needed to say this:

I have been trying HARD not to force myself into getting the project done immediately, and (well) it felt like a pretty rough start. Additionaly, I'm trying NOT to waste all my hard work on a project everyone is anticipating for this time. That might be why I've been taking a number of breaks from production so I can get on with some other shit, especially school.

Sooo, I guess if you have a big project you wanna get done, here's my advice: Do not set an unfair deadline that you won't reach to, and do not force yourself to get it done. Not only is anticipation important, but so could be the quality of it.

Especially you ‪@975Productions‬. I don't know about Project:DOWNGRADER3 and MSREREAS S1E5 you've got coming up, but at least try to take a break or something, even if you have one project that could be worth HOURS of watching. Just saying.
