In 2017 we sold most of our belongings, bought an RV, and started full time RVing. Come join us on our adventure. I do simple meals for Nomads with limited kitchen space, and you never know what adventure I may go on. Come join the Chaos! So as we say in Louisiana. "laissez les bon temps rouler," - Let the good times roll!

I’m a kid from the 70’s and by the 80’s we thought we would have flying cars by 2025 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just know we will never vote out the Politicians, the Lobbyists, the Pharmaceutical companies and the Corporations. Congress tried to push a bill through for THEIR better healthcare and a raise! Where does this madness end? The people need to organise, you can’t vote this away. Yet if you think like our fore fathers did in 1776, now you are labelled a Terr@rist

Been super busy with life the last 6 months, but I’m planning on getting back in the groove and posting some weekly meal prepping videos for y’all. This is oven roasted garlic rosemary and thyme red potatoes, with lemon pepper Tilapia over brown rice. Do y’all want to see no dietary constraint chefs choice, keto, carnivore, gastric bypass meals or what?

Let me say from the get go, I have never liked #SlapyaMama spices or anything! Imagine my disdain when Rebecca threw a box of this in the cart, don’t ask me why, but sometimes you keep your mouth shut pertaining to marriage.
Trust me I made my argument, but sometimes actions speak louder than words.
This was the MOST disgusting “cajun” boxed mix I’ve ever had! Then to look at the reviews of clueless people saying how good it is who probably live in New York, the PNW, and other places that don’t have flavor, is even worse.
I literally had to pour out half the liquid and refill to dilute the OVERPOWERING chili powder and cayenne taste. If you follow me you know I also cook healthy meals for our dogs. I feed the dogs amazing meals I cook and I would not even give this to the dogs!
This representation of “cajun” food should be criminal. I literally should do a side by side video, to let people know, this is not our Jambalaya!

The Shrimp chowder was so good, Nick requested round Two. Wow! I’m not one to toot my own horn, but I’m gonna toot my own horn 📯📯 Let me tell you, homemade Roux ahead of time of time, stored in the fridge will now be a staple next to the jar of bacon grease in the fridge 🤣🤣🥰 #southerncooking #cajunfood #shrimpchowder

So going on through my fridge and freezer at the end of the month is like the price is right. What is left over that I can throw together? True story!
I found a half bag of frozen shrimp in the freezer, I found 2 small russet potatoes left over in a 5 lb bag, 3 stalks of celery left in the veg drawer that looked anorexic from dehydration, a partial clove of garlic, 3 pieces of bacon, 1/4 jar of bone broth from the roast a week ago, one onion, and 1/2 gal of milk about 2 days from expiration, and 2 pieces of frozen garlic bread in the back of the fridge.
I present you the Price is Right Shrimp chowder, and some blonde roux, in an old salsa jar for future projects lol. I prefer brunette….roux which has a bit more complex flavor, but blonde Roux is much more versatile for soups and stews.
