Chanell J. Wilson has been writing songs, poetry, and short stories since the age of 13. She has studied Theatre Arts, Screenwriting, Film Editing, and Recording Arts. She has also served as a clergy minister for five years. She is the author of "Braidgirl:The Hair Braiding Instructional ebook and Identity?:A Hair Memoir. She is co-founder and owner of Beaver-Wilson Girls Media. After 15-years of workshopping an original song catalog; Chanell released "Draw Near to Me" an R&B eclectic tune about getting close to the one you love. She is currently finishing her EP Project scheduled for release for Fall 2019. Currently, she resides in Northern California with her son and family.
