Let's Talk Religion
I've been a longtime listener of Dominic Perry's excellent "History of Egypt Podcast" (and he was also kind enough to help recomend some sources for me when I made my video on Religion in Ancient Egypt). Very glad to see that he has expanded to be making video content on Youtube (@dominicperryae ). Definitely check it out.
Below is the most recent video.

I just appeared on a podcast called "Law of Positivism", run by a fellow Swede, where we talk about Sufism for an hour.

My new song has now been released. You can watch a video version below, or find it on your favorite streaming platform.
This is a song that had been brewing musically for a few years, but came together lyrically earlier this year with the passing of a friend. It's thus quite introspective, and actually contains a reference to Ibn 'Arabi, but I doubt anyone will be able to spot it.

Hey guys
I was contacted by the people behind a new educational institute focusing on Islamic thought called "Tokat Institute" that seems very interesting and with some truly great scholars involved. I thought you'd be interested. Here's their annoucement:
"We are delighted to announce the official launch of the Tokat Institute for Advanced Islamic Studies—a non-partisan academic institution dedicated to the rigorous and expansive study of the Islamic intellectual tradition. Guided by a team of internationally renowned scholars, the Institute embraces a holistic and integrative approach to Islamic studies, engaging deeply with philosophy, mysticism, rational theology, science, logic, art, and literature.
Among the Institute’s many exciting initiatives are its grants, dissertation awards, and academic prizes, as well as its live, synchronous courses taught by leading figures in the field, including Professors Seyyed Hossein Nasr, William Chittick, and Oludamini Ogunnaike.
The Institute will also inaugurate its Fall Online Lecture Series, featuring talks by prominent scholars such as Professors Asma Afsaruddin, Peter Adamson, and Carl Ernst.
We are also proud to announce three major scholarly publishing projects:
❖ Islamic Intellectual Traditions, a Diamond Open Access journal published in partnership with Brill.
❖ Studies in Islamic Thought, a Diamond Open Access book series published in partnership with Brill.
❖ The Tokat Library of Islamic Classics, a translation series published in partnership with Fons Vitae.

Another track posted on my other channel. This one has been playing in the background of many of my Sufism videos, and is named after the famous poem by Rumi - Neyname (The Song of the Reed).
