A plant and gardening channel for everyone. I’m a creative person that has become obsessed with growing rare, unusual, odd, and endangered plants. Hoyas and rare fruit trees are just a few of favorite plants to grow. Currently I live in Los Angeles, but plan to make the epic journey to Hawaii to establish a farm that will be an oasis for unusual and odd edible plants and houseplants. This is a channel about weird and cool fruits and plants, pretty or freaky plants, like Hoya, orchids, aroids, begonias and epiphytes as well as how to connect with nature. Annona spinescens growing in the ground in SoCal. This tree is odd, as you notice only THIS branch blooms every year though 50 others could chose to bloom too, they just don’t. Can’t wait to get fruit (I’ve been trying for 6 years) but every year the fruit drops off. Maybe this year. Spot the damselfly. I love the neon blue against the green leaves. Once we installed, the water feature, the damselflies have been laying their eggs in it for the past few years and we have hundreds of them in the yard at any given time. Fact: Damselfly larvae out here breathing through their butts like it’s no big deal.
Meanwhile I forget how to breathe when someone waves at me unexpectedly.

Farm life! I suppose I should post more about the Farm. For those that don’t know much about us or don’t follow us yet, we were stupid enough to buy a small piece of property In Hawaii in the hopes of starting our own endangered species tropical farm. Almost 6 years into it we barely have more than a quarter acre planted of some interesting stuff. Only going three times a year for a week means not a lot can be done, but we are trying. Who wants to see more of what we’re doing on the farm?? This little seed is showing up all over my yard. Google images isn’t really able to identify it besides some pointing to some Reddit post that show it but don’t even know what it is.
