I’m happy to say a few choice pieces of new merch made it to the store just in time for the holidays.

Glencairn style whisky glasses engraved with the two birds. This is inspired by a gift my agent once gave all the crew at the end of one of our tours! Limited to 50 pieces this time.A new scented candle, Ljósið (“The Light”), I designed with Very Goods Studio (who also made the Kiasmos candle) and is inspired by the greenhouse in my backyard.

We’ve got Slipmats with a new design by Studio Torsten Posselt and last but certainly not least, the merch I’m most passionate about, new socks! These first two designs, Waves and Ekki hugsa, are our first entry into what will hopefully be regular sock drops over the coming months/years/decades. These are also both designed Studio Torsten Posselt.

I played some records at Derrick Gee’s house!

Been a fan of Derrick Gee for a while and can honestly say he has introduced me to a lot of great music. So I was thrilled to receive an invitation to be a guest on his Solid Air show while I was in Australia on tour with Kiasmos. We spoke about the power of music to heal and transform us and, to be honest, could have talked for hours.

After being unavailable for quite some time now, Erased Tapes just did a re-pressing of Found Songs on this beautiful clear vinyl! In 2009 I made this album as a part of an attempt to escape my perfectionist tendencies and see what would happen if I forced myself to write, record and release a song per day every day for a week.
