πI found this AMAZING Inonotus hispidus mushroom growing right on a tree trunk outside my house β its rusty orange color and shaggy surface instantly caught my attention.
πIt is known in for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antitumor properties, and it has been studied for supporting the immune system and liver function. I carefully harvested it and decided to dry it naturally in the air, without using any dehydrator or heat.
πOver several days, it hardened nicely while keeping its distinct color and texture, ready to be stored for later use in teas or tinctures.
That's based in my awesome experience from a February trip in 2025!
Malta is an incredible destination year-round, but visiting in winter has its own unique charm - fewer crowds, cooler temperatures, and a relaxed atmosphere.
With just four days, you can explore a mix of history, nature, and local culture without feeling rushed.
π Find where to stay, where to eat, what to do!
Got questions? I 'll be happy to answer π

Wanna hear a story? Back in 2003, I was backpacking in Thailand. I attended my first Thai massage training in Chiang Mai, at Mama Lek school.
Then I wanted to see the islands. I was about to go to KO Tarurao, when I met accidentally my martial arts teacher. He's Thai, and his name is Tew Bunnag. He said, I will tell you about a place better than KO Tarurao.
So I found myself in Krabi. I went there by train. Found a hut on the beach. The price was 1 EUR per day (I repeat, that was 2003).
That photo of mine was taken during these days.
What's the most positive unexpected thing that has happened to you while travelling?
πThis is located in a very ancient and special place in Greece: Tithorea. Read on.
π Tithorea, considered the birthplace of the Phocians, where about 2000 BC, Phocus and his wife Antiopi settled.
It has been identified by 3d and 2d c. B.C. inscriptions, dated by the archon of Tithorea. Several refer to Isis, Serapis, and Anubis, recalling the sanctuary that Pausanias said was the holiest of those built to Isis in Greece.
π The ancient fortification of Tithorea stands inside the modern village, in nearly perfect condition. Its two remaining towers show the line of the ancient city: the first one stands in the middle of the modern village; and the second one (called by the locals kastraki, i.e. little castle) stands in the middle of the forest. The two towers are connected in most parts by the surviving walls.
π HOW TO GET THERE
Tithorea is situated at the northern foot of the Parnassus, 5 km from Tithorea Train Station, 90 minutes or 156 km from the country capital Athens.
That's a video from my "official" channel. It's about a hike close to a Greek beach. Since that is a wellness channel, because of the YT algorithm, I had to separate this content. Hence, all my hiking / outdoors videos will be published here. Enjoy!
This is the photo I used as a cover for my new video on Schinias Beach! Enjoy the sunshine as long as you can, darker days may come (literally and metaphorically). Visit channel to watch the video :)
