Star Oil Company Ltd. was incorporated on October 7, 1998 as a wholly Ghanaian-owned Oil Marketing Company (OMC).

The mission of Star Oil Company Ltd. is to own and operate facilities for the storage, handling and marketing of petroleum products in all districts of Ghana in the most efficient and cost effective manner.

Being the oldest privately owned Ghanaian OMC, Star Oil has braved the odds and turbulence of the industry and is currently the second largest, providing fuel and energy solutions to many corporate and individual clients across the country.
