This channel is dedicated to the DIY film production by young filmmakers exploring socially significant themes. Here you can find films made by very young authors that the young audience can enjoy without restrictions. Besides, this channel presents the documentary and experimental pieces by emerging filmmakers from all over the world. The films were made at the various film workshops for emerging filmmakers organised by DZMP Luksuz produkcija in Slovenia and in the framework of the European Voluntary Service/European Solidarity Corps.

In the 5th episode of the ZOOM-IN virtual talk series we discuss the work of volunteers with the refugees and migrants in Slovenia. Our guests are Valentina Murati, volunteer at Mladinski Center Krško, Elena Trajkova from Slovenska filantropija and Eilian Cherel, voluneer at ZAVOD ARS VIVA. Nastja, 32, is a Croatian artist known for her flower-shaped vagina murals on the streets of Zagreb. Her mother Galja works as a tourist guide for Russian-speaking groups and does not approve of her daughter’s lifestyle. But the two have more in common than they would like to admit to themselves.

Nadia is half-Slovenian, half-Iranian. For one year, she is going to Iran with her family. There she joins the first year students at the local Iranian school. This documentary portrait of the 7-year-old girl shows us that a Slovene can also be a foreigner in a foreign country and needs to accept another culture and the way of life: left-to-right writing, school uniforms, and headscarves. The short film brings the Iranian everyday-life closer.
