A QUICK UPDATE! Tomorrow, I will be posting a video about Stickergate - that will be my last video for 2025 (unless something major changes). In January & February 2026, I will return with the following topics:

- Empress Theresa review part 1 (I'm breaking this into at least 2 parts because it's getting LONG)
- A review of the new Colleen Hoover book coming in January
- A review of the new Jennette McCurdy book

I know I originally planned to have the first part of Empress Theresa out before the end of 2025, but y'all, this story is LONG! I promise I'll make it worth the wait!

I hope you're all having an excellent start to December, and I hope winter is treating you well so far!


But after tomorrow's video, I'm excited to take a holiday break to get A TON OF WRITING DONE, plus spend lots of time with my friends & family!

A FEW BIG UPDATES!!! Read em all! 😁

1) The sticker fundraiser officially finished on Halloween! Ready for the final total? We raised ...
$11,000! ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!
I'm so excited about how well this went!
I posted a few weeks ago with the first 5,000 donation, so we had 6,000 left to give. Today, I gave $1,200 to 5 charities: World Central Kitchen (specifically their fund for serving meals in Gaza), Trans Lifeline, Planned Parenthood, the Illinois ACLU, and the Autistic Self Advocacy Network.

(EDITED to add: I still have about 100 orders left to ship out, so if you didn't receive your stickers yet, you should get them by next week. I'm hoping to have the rest of the orders in the mail this week. Thank you all for your patience as I navigated my biggest order yet!)

2) the Chicago bracelets also brought in $640 for Indivisible Chicago! Last week, I posted on my community tab showing the receipt for that donation.

3) now that those fundraisers have ended, if you're still looking to get involved, I'm happy to announce that I've joined a new November writing challenge organized by fellow romance author Lyssa Kay Adams!

The challenge is called Writers Against Hunger, and all funds raised go to Feeding America, as a way to help with the government cutting SNAP benefits.

I kicked off my personal page with a $100 donation, but the entire challenge as a whole has already raised over $12,000 among all the writers!

This coming Friday, we're reviewing the ABSOLUTELY UNHINGED sequel to "Eat Pray Love." It's quite possibly the weirdest "self-help" memoir I've ever read.
Then, for Halloween, we're reviewing something truly scary ... Kash Patel's OTHER TWO CHILDREN'S BOOKS!
And then, to close off 2025, in mid-November, as promised, I'll be reviewing EMPRESS THERESA! I'm in the process of getting through that book right now and y'all ... there's a lot to unpack!
