What lies beneath! Here’s a fascinating glimpse at a recently excavated sandstone structure in Laos, showing the quality of the stonework before time and weathering took its toll. The difference is especially apparent in the naga (serpent statue). I’ve included a photo of the unweathered and weathered versions. Like traveling back in time!
