📌 Announcement: Three-Day Meditation Retreat with Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra | September 11–13, 2026
We warmly invite everyone to join a three-day meditation retreat at Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center, September 11–13, 2026, guided by Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra Tuệ Nhân.
This retreat is an invitation to step away for a little while from the noise and busyness of daily life and make space for stillness, reflection, and practice. Over three dedicated days, we will come together to practice meditation, cultivate mindfulness, and listen to teachings that nurture inner peace, wisdom, and compassionate living.
The Walk for Peace has always carried a simple message: peace in the world begins with the peace we learn to cultivate within ourselves. This retreat offers us the time and space to explore that practice more deeply—to slow down, observe our minds and hearts, and learn to meet each moment with greater awareness, understanding, loving-kindness, and peace.
Whether you have practiced meditation for many years or are simply taking your first steps toward inner peace, you are warmly welcome to join us.
For those who are far away, portions of the retreat will also be shared by livestream, so wherever you may be, you can practice along with us and join the retreat in spirit.
📅 Dates: September 11–13, 2026
📍 Location: Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center
4717 E. Rosedale St., Fort Worth, TX 76105
🧘 Guided by: Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra Tuệ Nhân
🔗 Please find the registration link in the comment section below.
May these three days offer a quiet space to return to ourselves, deepen our practice, and nurture the peace within—so that we may carry a little more of that peace into our families, our communities, and the world around us.
May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏

📌 Schedule & Important Updates for Three-Day Meditation Retreat | September 11–13, 2026
As we prepare for the upcoming Three-Day Meditation Retreat with Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra Tuệ Nhân at Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center, we would like to share the retreat schedule along with a few important updates for everyone planning to attend.
The retreat will offer three days dedicated to meditation and mindful living, with sitting and walking meditation and teachings to help cultivate inner peace, mindfulness, and wisdom.
📅 September 11–13, 2026
📍 Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center
🧘 Guided by Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra Tuệ Nhân
🔗 Please find the registration link in the comment section below.
Important information for participants:
- September 3 is the final day to register for overnight lodging at the temple. After September 3, you are still warmly welcome to attend the retreat, and meals and other necessities will continue to be provided. However, participants registering after this date will need to arrange their own lodging outside the temple.
- If you have already registered but have not seen a confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder. The temple recently began using a new email address, so some confirmation messages may have been directed there.
- If you have received your confirmation email, your lodging space at the temple is reserved. Because space is limited, however, we cannot guarantee a bed for every participant. Some participants may need to sleep on the floor, and the temple will provide the necessary bedding.
Please see the schedule in the poster for the complete daily program.
We look forward to welcoming everyone for these three days of practice together. May this retreat give us time to slow down, deepen our mindfulness, and cultivate the peace within that we hope to carry into our daily lives and share with others.
May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏

🙏 Our Hearts and Prayers Are with Everyone Affected by the Devastating Floods Near the Nepal–Tibet Border
Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating floods near the Nepal–Tibet border on August 26, 2026. Lives have been lost, many remain missing, and families and communities are facing grief, displacement, and uncertainty as rescue efforts continue.
During this difficult time, we offer our deepest prayers, loving-kindness, and compassion to all those touched by this tragedy. We hold especially close those who have lost loved ones, those still waiting anxiously for news, the injured and displaced, and the courageous rescue workers and volunteers working tirelessly to help others.
We believe that compassion knows no borders. When suffering touches anyone, anywhere, it reminds us that beyond nationality, language, culture, and difference, we belong to one human family. May relief efforts reach every affected area swiftly, bringing rescue, shelter, care, and hope to those in need.
We also want to reassure everyone concerned about the venerable monks of the Walk for Peace. Venerable Khundech Thantacitto and Venerable Thirasak are spending the Rains Retreat in Nepal in an area unaffected by the flooding, and both are safe. Venerable Phiyathammoo had planned to spend the retreat in an area now affected by the floods, but his plans changed before the trip. We are deeply grateful that all venerable monks of the Walk for Peace are safe and unharmed.
While deeply grateful for their safety, our hearts remain with everyone who was not as fortunate.
Today, wherever you are, we invite you to pause for a moment of prayer, meditation, or loving-kindness.
May those who have lost their lives rest in peace.
May the missing be found safely.
May the injured receive care, grieving families find comfort, and all those affected find strength and support in the days ahead.
May all beings be safe.
May all beings be free from suffering. 🙏
