The Animals Tribute Channel (unofficial)

LOVE, APPRECIATION & THANKS to THE ANIMALS

This is an unofficial channel (by a fan) in tribute to THE ANIMALS (1963-1966), one of the GREATEST British R&B bands of the 1960s.

The original line-up:
Eric Burdon - vocals, Alan Price - keyboards, Hilton Valentine - guitar, Chas Chandler - bass, John Steel - drums

Later personnel:
Mick Gallagher - keyboards (temporary replacement), Dave Rowberry - keyboards, Barry Jenkins - drums

A great blog by The Daily Guru about The Animals & their rousing version of House of the Rising Sun:

πŸ‘πŸ˜Š Hi Eric/Animals fans, site owner here, as mentioned earlier I have created a playlist called 'FULL PROGRAMMES' on my Eric Burdon Tribute Channel which I am frequently working on and this will be a work in progress for quite a while. I have been researching and finding some quite obscure and interesting clips on YouTube recently... it's well worth a look so why not check it out and see what's there. Please feel free to share this playlist with other fans. Enjoy. 😊 magusmagic

🎢⭐😊 Hi Animals fans! site owner here, here's an interview from a couple of years ago which I enjoyed reading and thought I'd share, Eric Burdon talks mainly about his experiences with The Animals. Still very much one cool Animal! Article has a great quote about George Harrison.

😊 Hi Eric/Animals fans! I've been updating this extensive playlist on my Eric Burdon Tribute Channel - a collection of interviews, documentaries and pretty much anything else relating to Eric Burdon, The Animals, and beyond and beyond! There is a ton of great material gathered there from various YouTube users and clips have been added as and when they appear so it has grown pretty loooong over the years. Although this playlist still needs a lot of sorting and organising (for now clips are in no particular order), it is well worth a look!.. maybe keep it handy for the holiday period and get stuck in with some serious viewing. I know I will be! So why not check it out and see what's there if you haven't had a look recently or maybe you haven't seen it at all.
x All the best, Magusmagic (site owner)

Hi Animals fans, I was looking at something else on this German site and decided to do a search and found this short film called 'Twist and Shout - Beat in Munich 1965'. I was delighted to see some very quick shots of The Animals in concert at around 05:12, there isn't much! and you really have to look hard! but anything is priceless right?. There's also a bit of audio at 06:22. Not seen these clips before. Thought I'd share. Here's the link:
